⭐ Beautiful stroller, but extremely disappointing durability and warranty support from Wike

I purchased the Wike Premium Suspension Bike Trailer with the stroller/jogger kit for approximately $1,000, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend Wike based on my experience.

When we first purchased the trailer, we really loved it. It looked great, felt like a premium product, and worked well for our family. Unfortunately, after only a few months, we began experiencing multiple issues.

The first issue was a fraying zipper, which started very early in our ownership. My husband actually contacted customer service about it on June 1, but we never received a response at the time. Because that was our only issue then, we didn’t continue pursuing it and I tried to deal with it myself.

Since then, we’ve had another zipper issue that I have had to fix multiple times, the Velcro securing the removable seat/backrest repeatedly comes undone during use, the handlebar foam has deteriorated, and there is damage around the canopy/zipper area that affects the ability to properly close the cover when it rains.

What has been most disappointing isn’t just the problems themselves it’s Wike’s response to them.

Wike reviewed our photos and videos and determined that they did not consider these issues manufacturing defects. They attributed the zipper damage to external abrasion and said they couldn’t identify a defect with the seat/backrest from the photos.

I understand that products can experience wear and tear. But this is a stroller/trailer that cost approximately $1,000, and these issues started within just a few months of ownership. I don’t think a customer should have to repeatedly repair zippers and deal with the seat coming apart after spending that much money on a child-transport product.

Wike has offered to exchange the entire trailer, but they want us to pay $100 in shipping. At this point, my concern is that I could spend another $100, receive a replacement, and be dealing with the same problems again a few months later. I simply don’t feel comfortable taking that gamble.

I want to be very clear about something: Omaha Sports & Games has been great throughout this process. Their management and customer service have been responsive, professional, and have genuinely tried to help us. They have communicated with Wike, forwarded our photos and videos, and continued advocating for us. My frustration is with Wike and how they are handling the situation, not Omaha Sports & Games.

I am leaving this review because I think potential Wike customers deserve to know that while the trailer may look and feel like a premium product initially, my experience with its durability and Wike’s warranty support has been extremely disappointing.

For a product costing around $1,000, I expected much better durability and customer support.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering a Wike trailer to research the warranty experience and durability concerns before spending this much money.

I genuinely wish I could give this product a better review because we really did love it when we first bought it. Unfortunately, the problems we’ve experienced and Wike’s unwillingness to provide a refund have completely changed my opinion of the brand.
