If your van has a wood or composite floor, your kit will include wood inserts that you press into the floor to create threaded bolt receptacles for mounting the furniture. If your van has a stock metal floor, your kit will include riv nuts instead - note that you will need a riv nut installation tool (not included) to install these into the metal floor. Both systems result in a secure, removable mount that lets you unbolt the units in just a few minutes if needed.

Does the kit include a mattress?

No, a mattress is not included. TNTvans recommends using a Therm-a-Rest sleeping pad, a roll-up mat, or cutting memory foam to size to fit the 83" bed platform. Bedding, bins, lighting, and other accessories shown in product photos are also not included but are available separately.
