TRUTH BMX | 20" MAIN EVENT CARBON BMX RACE FRAME
Description
The Truth BMX Main Event Carbon Race Frame stands at the pinnacle of BMX race frame engineering, built for riders who demand the absolute best in speed, stiffness, and weight savings. Constructed from Uni-Directional Toray T1000 Carbon Fiber - the same material trusted in aerospace applications - this frame delivers measurable performance advantages over frames built with T700 or T800 carbon. Every tube, joint, and angle has been purposefully designed to translate power into speed on the track.
Available in a full range of sizes from Expert through Pro XXXXL, the Main Event Carbon is engineered to fit elite junior racers and elite adult riders alike. With a striking design and race-ready geometry, this frame meets and exceeds ENBMX Racing testing standards, making it one of the most competition-proven carbon BMX frames on the market today.
Key Features
- Toray T1000 Uni-Directional Carbon Fiber: Uses the world's leading carbon fiber - superior to T700 and T800 - for maximum stiffness, strength, and weight savings.
- Aerospace-Grade Material: T1000 carbon is widely used in aerospace and high-end applications, delivering a racing advantage most frames simply can't match.
- Ultra-Light Weight (from 2 lbs 4.5 oz): Carbon clear Pro XL weighs just 2 lbs 4.5 oz; painted Pro XL comes in at 2 lbs 6.5 oz - race-ready light.
- Tapered Head Tube (1-1/8" to 1.5"): Improves front-end stiffness and steering precision for more aggressive, confident handling on the track.
- Press Fit BB86 Bottom Bracket: Modern BB standard provides a stiffer, lighter drivetrain interface and better power transfer out of the gate.
- Tapered Seat Post: Improves bottom bracket support and overall frame stiffness for a more efficient pedaling platform.
- Large Downtube: Oversized downtube area adds strength and rigidity where it matters most under sprint load.
- Internal Cable Routing: Clean, aerodynamic cable routing keeps lines tucked away and reduces drag and snag points.
- 20mm Dropouts with Integrated Chain Tensioner: Precision rear-end design with 20mm dropouts and a built-in chain tensioner for secure, easy wheel setup. Includes 10mm frame adapters.
- ENBMX Racing Standards Certified: Meets or exceeds ENBMX Racing testing standards for safety and performance at sanctioned events.

FAQ
What makes Toray T1000 carbon fiber better than T700 or T800?
Toray T1000 is a higher-grade carbon fiber with significantly greater tensile strength and stiffness compared to T700 and T800. This means frames built with T1000 can be lighter while maintaining or exceeding the structural integrity of heavier lower-grade carbon frames. It's the same material class used in aerospace and advanced engineering applications, which is why Truth BMX frames built with it represent a genuine step up in real-world performance.
What size frame should I choose?
Frame size in BMX racing is primarily determined by your height, inseam, and riding style. As a general guide: Expert and Expert XL suit younger or shorter competitive riders, while the Pro through Pro XXXL range covers average to very tall adult racers. The Pro XL (21.25" top tube) is the most popular adult size. If you're between sizes, consider your riding style - riders who prefer a more aggressive, forward position often size down slightly, while those who prefer more stability size up.
Is this frame legal for sanctioned BMX racing events?
Yes. The Truth BMX Main Event Carbon frame meets or exceeds ENBMX Racing testing standards, making it legal for use in sanctioned BMX racing competitions. Always verify with your specific sanctioning body (such as USA BMX or UCI) for any additional local requirements.
Does this frame require a specific bottom bracket?
Yes - the Main Event Carbon uses a Press Fit BB86 bottom bracket standard. Make sure your crankset and bottom bracket are compatible with BB86 press fit when building up your race bike.
What fork size is compatible with this frame?
The frame features a 1-1/8" to 1.5" tapered head tube, so you will need a tapered steerer tube fork to match. The frame also comes with 10mm frame adapters, and the dropouts are 20mm - keep this in mind when selecting your fork and front axle setup.
How is this frame shipped?
The Truth BMX Main Event Carbon frame ships as a standard parcel - no freight or pallet required. It arrives packaged to protect the carbon finish during transit. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.
