SKS-2 Half Rack Functional Trainer with Dual Weight Stacks
Description
The SKEISO SKS-2 is a heavy-duty half rack functional trainer built for serious home gym athletes who want free-bar lifting, cable training, and bodyweight work all in one compact footprint. Two independent 200 lb selectorized weight stacks sit on either side of an open half rack, giving you the freedom to run cable movements, lat pulldowns, low rows, and accessory exercises without ever leaving your setup. Built on a thick 75 x 75 x 3 mm steel main frame, this machine is engineered to handle heavy squats, rack pulls, and loaded cable work without flex or shake.
Whether you're pressing, pulling, squatting, or grinding through cable accessory work, the SKS-2 keeps everything within arm's reach - no Smith bar, no compromises on free-bar movement. Add your own barbell, plates, and bench to complete a full training environment that rivals a commercial gym setup at a fraction of the footprint. It's the centerpiece a dedicated home gym has been waiting for.

Why You'll Love It
The SKS-2 is trusted by home gym athletes who refuse to choose between a power rack and a functional trainer - because now you don't have to. Customers consistently describe it as "built like a tank," noting zero flex during heavy squats and pull-ups, and impressively smooth, quiet cable action on both stacks. The open half rack design keeps free-bar training front and center, while the dual adjustable cable stations mean you can flow from barbell sets straight into cable flyes, rows, or curls without missing a beat.
Backed by a limited lifetime frame warranty and lifetime parts sourcing support, the SKS-2 is engineered for years of dependable daily use. Free standard U.S. shipping is included, and financing is available to make this investment in your training even more accessible. FAQ
Does the SKS-2 include a Smith machine bar?
No - the SKS-2 is an open half rack design with no Smith machine station. This is intentional: the machine is built around free-bar training, giving you natural barbell movement for squats, presses, and pulls. You'll need to supply your own compatible barbell and weight plates.
Do I need to buy a bench or barbell separately?
Yes. The SKS-2 includes the half rack frame, dual cable stacks, and all listed training station attachments, but an adjustable bench, free-weight barbell, and weight plates are sold separately. The included lat pulldown seat is a fixed training station attachment and is not a substitute for an adjustable workout bench.
Can I use both cable stacks at the same time?
Yes. The two cable stations operate independently, so you can set different heights and resistance levels on each side. This makes the SKS-2 well-suited for two-arm cable exercises like cable crossovers, as well as back-to-back unilateral movements where each side needs a different setting.
How much space do I need to install the SKS-2?
The factory-listed assembled size is approximately 66.9 x 71.1 x 94.5 in (L x W x H). However, you should plan for additional floor space around the machine for exercise movement, access, and any separately required equipment like a bench. Ceiling height and overhead clearance for pull-ups should also be confirmed before installation.
Is assembly required, and how difficult is it?
Yes, assembly is required. SKEISO provides an 18-page assembly manual with safety notes, recommended tools, a complete parts and hardware list, and step-by-step instructions. Customer reviews note that assembly takes some time but is straightforward. The machine and packaging are very heavy - approximately 1,031.8 lb assembled - so having at least one other person to help unload and stage the boxes is strongly recommended.
What is the warranty on the SKS-2?
The SKS-2 comes with limited lifetime coverage on the structural steel frame, 5 years on cables, pulleys, bearings, and guide rods, and 1 year on other covered components. SKEISO also offers lifetime parts sourcing support to help identify and source compatible replacement parts beyond the warranty period - note that this is not free lifetime parts replacement, just sourcing assistance.
