Description
The SI-TEX SVS-760CF is a professional-grade combination digital echo sounder and chartplotter built for serious anglers and commercial mariners who demand reliability on the water. Powered by a 600W sounder with dual 50/200kHz frequency, it delivers exceptional bottom composition detail and fish target clarity down to 4,800 feet. The vertically oriented 7.5" sunlight-viewable color LCD is designed to maximize sounder display performance, keeping critical information easy to read in any lighting condition.
Equipped with a built-in 52-channel GPS receiver, the SVS-760CF runs both C-MAP MAX and Navionics Gold cartography, giving boaters the flexibility to use the chart platform that best fits their region and needs. SI-TEX's digital sounding technology eliminates unwanted noise while a high-speed CPU ensures seamless zooming and accurate readings even at higher vessel speeds. Whether you're navigating coastal waters or hunting fish in deep structure, the SVS-760CF brings together powerful fishfinding and full-featured chartplotting in one rugged, waterproof package.

FAQ
What is the difference between 50kHz and 200kHz sounder frequencies?
The 50kHz frequency produces a wider sonar cone angle, making it better for deep water and covering more area beneath the boat. The 200kHz frequency produces a narrower, more focused beam that provides higher resolution images in shallower water. Having both frequencies in the SVS-760CF means you can switch between them depending on water depth and the level of detail you need.
Can I use my existing Navionics charts with this unit?
Yes. The SVS-760CF is compatible with Navionics Gold cartography, so if you already have Navionics charts for your region they should work in this unit. It also supports C-MAP MAX charts, giving you flexibility to choose the platform you prefer. A C-MAP 4D card is included with purchase to get you started right away.
Is this unit suitable for saltwater use?
Absolutely. The SVS-760CF is housed in a rugged IPX-7 waterproof enclosure designed for marine environments, including saltwater. It can be mounted indoors or outdoors on any style or size of vessel, making it a reliable choice for offshore fishing, coastal cruising, and commercial applications.
Does the SVS-760CF work with AIS systems?
Yes. The unit is designed for easy integration with the SI-TEX Metadata AIS module as well as other AIS receivers. Adding AIS capability enhances situational awareness by displaying nearby vessel traffic directly on the chartplotter screen, which is a significant safety advantage in busy or low-visibility waterways.
What does the Navionics Sonar Chart Bathymetric recording feature do?
This feature allows you to use your own sounder data to create custom depth maps of the areas you fish or navigate. That data can then be uploaded and added to the Navionics Sonar Chart Database, which other Navionics users can benefit from. It's especially useful for fishing in lakes or coastal areas where existing charts may lack detailed depth information.
