Rogers Athletic Tetra Tackling System
Description
The Rogers Athletic Tetra Tackling System is a revolutionary quad tackling dummy designed to transform how football players develop safe and effective tackling technique. Built to stay always upright, the Tetra forces athletes to engage at hip level on every rep - keeping heads up and out of the tackle to promote player safety from day one. What sets the Tetra apart is its dynamic angle of attack: after every tackle, the contact point shifts, requiring players to use non-repetitive movements and break down properly before engaging.
This conditioning tool trains athletes to drive through tackles with their hips while maintaining proper head position, building the muscle memory that carries over directly to game situations. Whether you're coaching youth, JV, or varsity football, the Tetra is the kind of equipment that makes every practice rep count. Manufactured by Rogers Athletic - one of the most trusted names in football training equipment - this system is built to handle daily, high-intensity use season after season.

FAQ
What makes the Tetra different from a standard tackling dummy?
Unlike a standard tackling dummy that falls over or stays in one fixed position, the Tetra is always upright and changes its angle of attack after every tackle. This forces players to break down properly and use varied movement patterns rather than repeating the same approach over and over. The result is more realistic, game-like conditioning that builds genuinely transferable tackling skills.
Is this safe for youth and high school football players?
Yes - in fact, player safety is the core design principle of the Tetra. The system is built to enforce heads-up tackling technique by requiring athletes to engage at hip level with their heads out of the contact zone. This directly addresses one of the most common causes of injury in football and helps build safe tackling habits from an early age.
Is a JV or smaller size available?
Yes! A JV size version of the Tetra is available for younger or smaller players. Please reach out to us at service@omahasportsandgames.com and we can get you details and pricing on the JV configuration.
How many athletes can use the Tetra at once?
The Tetra is a quad (four-sided) tackling system, meaning up to four athletes can rotate through the station simultaneously, maximizing reps and keeping practice efficient. It's ideal for team drills where you need multiple players working at the same time.
Does it require assembly or anchoring to the ground?
