PRx Profile PRO ARK Weight Stack Folding Functional Trainer

Description

The Profile PRO ARK Weight Stack Functional Trainer is PRx Performance's most advanced home gym machine - combining selectorized dual weight stacks with a space-saving fold-flat design that tucks to just 6 inches from your wall. Engineered for serious lifters who refuse to sacrifice performance for square footage, the ARK delivers true commercial-gym versatility in a compact, wall-mounted footprint. Featuring Dialed Motion's patent-pending Retractor system, this is one of the most innovative folding functional trainers on the market today.

Dual 160 lb weight stacks at a 1:1 pulley ratio give you serious resistance for lat pulldowns, low rows, cable flyes, and far more. Available in three upright heights to match your ceiling clearance, and sold either as a complete standalone functional trainer or as an attachment upgrade for existing Profile PRO rack owners - making it one of the most versatile investments you can make in your home gym.

Key Features

  • Folds to 6" from Wall: Patent-pending Retractor technology by Dialed Motion folds the entire unit nearly flush with the wall when not in use - no wasted space.
  • Dual 160 lb Weight Stacks: Two fully independent selectorized weight stacks at a 1:1 pulley ratio deliver true cable resistance for a wide range of exercises.
  • 1:1 Pulley Ratio: Direct, responsive cable feel - what you select is what you lift, with no mechanical advantage masking true load.
  • Three Upright Heights - 81", 89", 95": Choose the height that matches your ceiling clearance, with minimum ceiling requirements of 92", 94", and 100" respectively.
  • 1,000 lb Rack Weight Capacity: Built to handle serious loads - structurally rated for barbell work in addition to cable training.
  • Cable Travel - 54" (81") / 62" (89" and 95"): Extended cable range supports full-range movements including overhead pulls and low-cable exercises.
  • Powder Coat Finish - 8 Color Options: Available in Black, White, Red, Orange, Blue, Grey, Desert Tan, and Green - customize your setup to match your space.
  • PRx Axis Ecosystem Compatible: Add the Axis Pad, Footplate, and other attachments to build a fully modular all-in-one strength training system.
  • Sold as Full Trainer or Attachment: Current Profile PRO rack owners can purchase the ARK as an add-on attachment, maximizing existing equipment value.
  • J-Cups Included: Ready to use for barbell squats, presses, and more right out of the box.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty: Structural welds, frames, and hardware are covered for the life of the original purchaser under PRx's warranty program.

FAQ

Can I purchase the ARK as an attachment for my existing Profile PRO rack?

Yes! The Profile PRO ARK Weight Stack Functional Trainer is sold both as a complete standalone unit and as an add-on attachment for existing Profile PRO rack owners. If you already own a Profile PRO squat rack, you can upgrade it with the ARK weight stack system. Be sure to check the compatibility requirements - specifically your upright size and minimum ceiling height - before ordering.

How much ceiling height do I need?

The minimum ceiling height depends on the upright size you choose. For 81" uprights, you need at least 92" of clearance. For 89" uprights, you need at least 94". For 95" uprights, you need at least 100". These minimums account for the rack in its folded (stored) position, so make sure to measure your space carefully before selecting a height.

What exercises can I do with the ARK functional trainer?

The ARK supports a wide range of cable exercises including lat pulldowns, low rows, cable flyes, tricep pushdowns, bicep curls, face pulls, and cable squats - among many others. With the PRx Axis Pad and Footplate attachments, you can further expand your training options to include leg press, back extensions, and more. The dual independent cable columns let you work each side individually or together.

Is the Kipping Pull-Up Bar compatible with the ARK?

No - the Kipping Bar is not compatible with the ARK Weight Stack Functional Trainer. Compatible pull-up bar options are the Multi-grip bar and the Straight bar. If you're unsure about compatibility with your current setup, reach out to us at service@omahasportsandgames.com before ordering.

Does the ARK really fold to just 6 inches from the wall?

Yes - that's one of the most remarkable features of the Profile PRO ARK. Using Dialed Motion's patent-pending Retractor technology, the entire unit folds up to within 6 inches of your wall when not in use. This makes it ideal for home gyms where space is shared with a car, a workshop, or everyday living - you get a full commercial-grade functional trainer without permanently occupying your floor space.

What is the weight stack ratio, and what does 1:1 mean?

The ARK uses a 1:1 pulley ratio, which means the resistance you feel on the cable is exactly equal to the weight you've selected on the stack. For example, selecting 50 lbs gives you 50 lbs of resistance at the handle - no mechanical advantage reducing the perceived load. This provides a more direct, honest training feel compared to functional trainers with 2:1 or other ratios.
