Toray T800 and T700 are both high-grade carbon fibers manufactured in Japan by Toray Industries, one of the world's leading carbon fiber producers. Which width rim should I choose for my BMX build?
Your rim width should match your intended tire width. As a general rule, choose a rim width that is slightly narrower than your tire's stated width. The 24x1-1/8" and 24x1-3/8" options are great for speed-focused or racing builds, while the 24x1.50" and 24x1.75" options pair better with wider tires used in park, trail, or street riding.
Are these rims compatible with V-brakes or rim brakes?
Carbon rims require specific brake pads designed for carbon braking surfaces. Outburst offers compatible V Brake Carbon Rim BMX Pads separately to ensure safe and effective braking on these rims. Using standard rubber pads designed for alloy rims on carbon rims is not recommended, as it can damage the rim surface and reduce braking performance.
Do I need special rim tape for these carbon rims?
Yes - using quality rim tape is important to protect the inner carbon surface and ensure a proper seal, especially when running higher tire pressures. Outburst offers their own BMX Pro Rim Tape, which is designed to work with these rims and handle pressures up to the rim's 100 psi rating.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at service@omahasportsandgames.com.
If your return request is accepted, it will be up to you as the buyer to return the item in its original packaging, unworn and unused. You as the buyer will be responsible for paying the return shipping. We may be able to assist you in scheduling a pickup for return but the payment will still be your responsibility. All products are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee based on the quality of the returned product and packaging.

Shipping Damages and Issues
You must inspect your order upon reception and refuse delivery if you see damage. DO NOT sign for delivery if there is apparent damage to the product. If you sign for the delivery and later claim shipping damage, there is very little we can do to help.
If your order does not require signing at delivery and is instead just dropped off at doorstep with damage, contact us immediately with photos of the damaged boxes.
If your item(s) is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
