Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m Automatic Grade 5 Titanium Watch Yellow
Description
The Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m is a groundbreaking achievement in deep-sea horology - the world's first dive watch rated to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) to feature a functioning power reserve indicator. Built from aerospace-grade Grade 5 Titanium, which is 227% stronger than stainless steel yet 40% lighter, this timepiece is engineered to survive the crushing pressures of the deep ocean without sacrificing a single complication. At its heart beats the Miyota 9132, a premium 26-jewel automatic movement operating at 28,800 vph, delivering smooth, precise timekeeping alongside a 40-hour power reserve display, 24-hour counter, and date window.
The striking yellow enamel dial delivers a liquid-like gloss that no standard painted dial can replicate, set against gunmetal black luminous hour markers and hands coated in Grade A BGW9 Swiss Luminova for flawless low-light legibility. Strictly limited to just 50 individually serialized units per model number, this is a collector's instrument as rare as it is capable - a purpose-built deep-sea tool watch that doubles as a heirloom-quality investment piece.
Key Features
- World's First 6,000m Power Reserve Watch: Oceaneva is the only brand to integrate a power reserve indicator into a dive watch rated to 6,000 meters - a genuine industry first in deep-sea horology.
- Grade 5 Titanium Case: 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, yet 40% lighter - machined at one of only 3 factories globally capable of cutting Grade 5 Titanium watch cases.

Why You'll Love It
The Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m represents a rare convergence of serious engineering and genuine collectibility - the kind of timepiece that performs at the absolute limit of what a mechanical watch can endure, while remaining an object of beauty on the wrist. As a USA-based brand that has physically tested their watches at ocean depth - only the 6th brand in history to do so - Oceaneva brings a level of real-world verification that most watchmakers simply cannot claim. The Miyota 9132 movement delivers Swiss-competitive reliability in a package that has been individually tested for accuracy, giving you confidence in every wear. With just 50 pieces ever produced per model, this watch won't depreciate into obscurity - it enters your collection as a numbered, documented chapter in horological history. The premium packaging alone signals the caliber of what's inside, and every detail from the enamel dial to the engraved caseback reflects a brand that genuinely sweats the small stuff. For the collector who demands both capability and rarity, this is an easy choice.

FAQ
What makes the Miyota 9132 movement a good choice for a watch at this price point?
The Miyota 9132 is part of Miyota's premium 9000-series and is specifically designed to compete with Swiss automatic movements in quality and reliability. It runs at 28,800 vph for a smooth sweep, features 26 jewels to minimize friction, includes hacking seconds and manual winding, and incorporates both a 24-hour sub-dial and a power reserve indicator - complications rarely seen together in this price category. Oceaneva tested 20 random units from production and recorded an average accuracy of +/- 11 seconds per day, which is strong performance for a mechanical movement.
Is this watch suitable for actual professional or saturation diving?
Yes. The Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m is engineered with saturation diving in mind. It features a triple-seal crown and caseback system, a 6mm thick domed sapphire crystal, Grade 5 Titanium construction, and - critically - an automatic helium escape valve that prevents internal damage during decompression ascents. These are the same design requirements demanded by professional deep-sea and saturation divers. Oceaneva is also one of only six brands in history to physically test their watches at actual ocean depth.
Why does Grade 5 Titanium matter compared to stainless steel?
Grade 5 Titanium is 227% stronger and 225% harder than standard 316L stainless steel, yet approximately 40% lighter. This means the watch sits more comfortably on the wrist while offering superior resistance to scratching, corrosion, and structural stress at extreme depth. It's an aerospace-grade alloy used in demanding applications - and so rare to machine that only 3 factories globally will cut watch cases from it. The result is a watch that feels remarkably light for how indestructible it is.
How does the power reserve indicator work, and why is it useful?
The power reserve indicator, displayed at 12 o'clock, shows how much energy remains in the mainspring of the automatic movement. The Miyota 9132 has a 40-hour power reserve. When the indicator runs low, you know it's time to wear the watch or manually wind it to keep it running accurately. This is especially practical for collectors who rotate between multiple watches, eliminating the guesswork of whether a watch needs to be reset after sitting unworn for a day or two.
What does the limited edition serialization mean, and does it affect resale value?
Each watch is individually numbered out of 50 total units produced for this model (e.g., 07/50), and comes with a Stainless Steel Certificate of Authenticity that matches that serial number. Strict production limits are a recognized driver of long-term collector value - when production ends, it ends permanently. A numbered, documented piece from a brand making industry-first achievements in horology has strong fundamentals as a collectible asset, independent of its impressive functional specifications.
What is FKM rubber and why is it used instead of standard silicone?
FKM, or Fluoroelastomer, is an aerospace-grade synthetic rubber significantly more durable than standard silicone straps. It resists UV degradation, extreme temperatures, and chemical exposure - all relevant concerns for a dive watch worn in demanding environments. Unlike silicone, FKM is dense and supple rather than sticky, meaning it doesn't attract dust and holds its shape and comfort over years of use. The strap on this watch is sourced from Germany and paired with a screw-secured polished Grade 5 Titanium buckle.
