Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m Automatic Grade 5 Titanium Watch Red
Description
The Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m is a landmark achievement in deep-sea horology - the world's first dive watch rated to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) to feature a functioning power reserve indicator. Built from aerospace-grade Grade 5 Titanium, this watch delivers 227% more strength than stainless steel while remaining 40% lighter, making it as comfortable on the wrist as it is formidable in the ocean. The striking red-to-black gradient enamel dial gives this timepiece a bold, unmistakable presence that sets it apart from any other dive watch on the market.
At its heart beats the Miyota 9132 automatic movement - a 26-jewel, 28,800 vph precision caliber from Miyota's premium 9000-series line, delivering reliability that rivals far more expensive Swiss alternatives. Strictly limited to just 50 individually serialized units, this is a collector's instrument in every sense: technically groundbreaking, visually striking, and rare enough to hold real long-term value. Whether you're a serious horological collector or a diver who refuses to compromise, this watch was engineered for you.
Key Features
- Industry First - Power Reserve at 6,000m: The first and only dive watch in the world to combine a power reserve indicator with a 6,000-meter water resistance rating - a true horological milestone.
- Grade 5 Titanium Case: 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, yet 40% lighter - machined at one of only 3 factories in the world capable of cutting Grade 5 Titanium watch cases.
- Miyota 9132 Automatic Movement - 26 Jewels, 28,800 vph: Premium Japanese automatic caliber with hacking seconds, manual winding, and average timekeeping accuracy of +/- 11 seconds per day in testing.
- 40-Hour Power Reserve Indicator: Displayed at 12 o'clock, so you always know how much energy remains in the movement at a glance.
- Red/Black Gradient Enamel Dial: Deep liquid-gloss enamel finish provides a high-contrast, luxury aesthetic that standard painted dials cannot replicate.
- Grade A BGW9 Swiss Luminova: Applied generously to bezel markers, indices, and hands for bright, long-lasting blue glow in complete darkness or deep water.
- 6mm Thick Slightly Domed Sapphire Crystal: Nearly scratchproof, with superior clarity and extreme pressure resistance.
- Automatic Helium Escape Valve: Spring-loaded, one-way valve built into the titanium case for saturation diving - safely releases trapped micro-gases during decompression without compromising water resistance.
- 120-Click Ceramic Bezel with BGW9 Lume: High-grade ceramic bezel insert on a Grade 5 Titanium assembly - precise, scratch-resistant, and fully readable in pitch-black conditions.
- Limited Edition - 50 Pieces Per Model: Each watch is individually serialized (XX/50), making this one of the rarest production dive watches available anywhere.
- German FKM Rubber Strap with Titanium Buckle: Aerospace-grade fluoroelastomer strap is UV-, chemical-, and temperature-resistant, secured by a polished Grade 5 Titanium screw-attached buckle.
- Heritage Engraved Caseback: Brushed screw-down titanium caseback features a detailed engraving of the Neptune Statue at Virginia Beach - the monument that inspired the Oceaneva brand.

Why You'll Love It
Oceaneva is a USA-based brand that has built its reputation on doing what no other watchmaker dares - and the Power Reserve 6000m is the definitive proof. It is the only 6,000-meter-rated timepiece on the planet with a working power reserve complication, and Oceaneva is one of only six brands in history to have actually tested their watches at true ocean depths. The Grade 5 Titanium construction ensures that despite its extraordinary capability, this watch weighs just 5.0 oz total - comfortable enough for all-day wear and tough enough for saturation diving. The Miyota 9132 movement was selected after rigorous in-house testing and delivers luxury-watch-grade performance at a fraction of the cost of Swiss alternatives. With only 50 units ever produced per model and each one individually numbered, this is the kind of piece that holds its place in a collection for decades. For the discerning collector who demands both engineering excellence and genuine rarity, the Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m is a once-in-a-generation acquisition.

FAQ
What makes the power reserve indicator on this watch special?
This is the world's first dive watch rated to 6,000 meters that includes a working power reserve indicator. Traditional extreme-depth dive watches sacrifice secondary complications to maintain structural integrity under crushing ocean pressures. Oceaneva re-engineered the case to accommodate this complication without compromising water resistance - a genuine industry first that no other brand has achieved.
Is the Miyota 9132 movement reliable enough for a watch at this price level?
Absolutely. The Miyota 9132 is part of Miyota's premium 9000-series and is engineered to compete directly with Swiss automatic movements. It runs at 28,800 vph with 26 jewels, includes hacking seconds and manual winding, and in Oceaneva's own in-house testing of 20 randomly pulled production units, averaged +/- 11 seconds per day - excellent performance for a mechanical movement at any price point.
Do I need to wind this watch, or does it wind itself automatically?
The Miyota 9132 is a self-winding automatic movement - it charges its mainspring through the natural motion of your wrist during everyday wear via a unidirectional rotor. If the watch has been sitting unworn, you can manually wind it by unscrewing the crown and turning it clockwise. The power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock will show you exactly how much charge remains in the movement at any time.
Can this watch actually be used for saturation diving?
Yes. The 6,000-meter water resistance rating, triple-seal crown and caseback, and automatic helium escape valve are all purpose-built for professional and saturation diving. The helium escape valve is critical for saturation divers who spend extended time in pressurized environments - it automatically releases trapped helium during decompression to prevent internal damage or crystal blow-off.
How rare is this watch, and does the serial number matter?
Each model number is limited to exactly 50 pieces worldwide, and every watch is individually serialized in the format XX/50. Your serial number is matched to a Stainless Steel Certificate of Authenticity included with the watch, making provenance fully verifiable. With only 50 units, every number in the run carries collectible significance - lower numbers are especially sought after by serious collectors.
What is Grade 5 Titanium and why does it matter for a dive watch?
Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) is an aerospace-grade alloy that is 227% stronger and 225% harder than standard 316L stainless steel, yet 40% lighter. For a dive watch, this means unmatched resistance to pressure, corrosion, and impact without adding wrist-fatiguing weight. It is so difficult to machine that only 3 factories in the world produce watch cases from it, and it takes 50% longer to cut than standard stainless - a meaningful indicator of the quality invested in this watch.
