Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m Automatic Grade 5 Titanium Watch Light Blue
Description
The Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m is a landmark achievement in deep-sea horology - the first watch in the world to integrate a power reserve indicator into a timepiece rated for 6,000 meters (20,000 feet). Built from solid Grade 5 Titanium, it delivers 227% greater strength than stainless steel at 40% less weight, making it as comfortable on the wrist as it is indestructible in the abyss. The stunning light blue enamel dial is paired with a Miyota 9132 automatic movement - part of Miyota's premium 9000-series line - offering 26 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a 40-hour power reserve displayed at 12 o'clock.
This is a strictly limited edition instrument, with only 50 units produced per model number, each individually serialized. Oceaneva is a USA-based brand and one of only six watchmakers in history to physically test their watches at ocean depths - a commitment to engineering integrity that sets them apart from the field. From its triple-seal crown and caseback to its Grade A BGW9 Swiss Luminova and heritage-engraved caseback, every detail has been engineered for the discerning collector who demands both performance and provenance.
Key Features
- Industry First - 6000m Power Reserve: The world's first deep-sea timepiece rated to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) to feature a functional power reserve indicator - a true horological milestone.
- Grade 5 Titanium Case: 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, yet 40% lighter. Scratch and corrosion resistant, machined at one of only 3 factories globally capable of cutting Grade 5 Titanium watch cases.
- Miyota 9132 Automatic Movement - 26 Jewels, 40-Hour Power Reserve: Premium 9000-series architecture running at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with hacking seconds, manual winding, and a power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock. Japan-made and tested to an average of +/- 11 seconds per day.
- Light Blue Enamel Dial: A liquid-gloss enamel finish that outclasses standard painted dials - providing depth, brilliance, and a high-contrast background for gun metal black luminous hour markers and hands.
- 6mm Thick Slightly Domed Sapphire Crystal: Nearly scratchproof, offering crystal-clear visibility and structural protection against crushing deep-sea pressures.
- Triple-Seal Crown and Caseback: A multi-tier sealing system with a reinforced screw-down caseback creates an impenetrable barrier against water intrusion at extreme depths.
- Automatic Helium Escape Valve: A spring-loaded, one-way valve built for saturation diving - automatically releases trapped micro-gases during decompression without compromising the 6,000m water resistance rating.
- Grade A BGW9 Swiss Luminova: Applied generously to bezel markers, indices, and hands - charges quickly and emits a long-lasting bright blue glow for flawless legibility in total darkness.
- German FKM Rubber Strap with Titanium Buckle: Aerospace-grade fluoroelastomer rubber resists UV rays, extreme temperatures, and chemical exposure. Secured by a polished Grade 5 Titanium buckle attached with a screw.
- Limited Edition - 50 Pieces Per Model: Each watch is individually serialized (XX/50), making this one of the rarest deep-sea timepieces ever produced. Polished bezel, lugs, and crown with brushed case sides and caseback.

The Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m is the kind of watch that makes serious collectors stop and take notice. As a USA-based brand and one of only six watchmakers in history to physically test their watches at ocean depths, Oceaneva has earned their reputation the hard way - through engineering, not marketing. FAQ
What makes this watch different from other 6000m dive watches?
The Oceaneva Power Reserve 6000m is the first watch in the world to combine a 6,000-meter water resistance rating with a functional power reserve indicator. Standard extreme-depth dive watches typically sacrifice secondary complications to preserve structural integrity at crushing ocean pressures. Oceaneva re-engineered the case architecture to accommodate the power reserve complication without sacrificing any depth rating - a genuine industry first.
Why is Grade 5 Titanium special for a watch case?
Grade 5 Titanium is an aerospace-grade alloy that is 227% stronger and 225% harder than standard 316L stainless steel, yet 40% lighter. It is highly resistant to scratches and corrosion, making it ideal for extreme environments. Only 3 factories globally are equipped to machine watch cases in Grade 5 Titanium, and the process takes 50% longer than stainless steel - which is why it's typically reserved for only the most serious tool watches.
Is the Miyota 9132 a reliable movement for a watch at this price level?
Absolutely. The Miyota 9132 is part of Miyota's premium 9000-series line, designed specifically to compete with Swiss-made automatic movements. It operates at 28,800 vph, features 26 jewels, hacking seconds, manual winding, and a power reserve indicator. Oceaneva tested 20 random units from their production run and recorded an average accuracy of +/- 11 seconds per day - well within acceptable ranges for a premium automatic. Miyota movements are renowned for their long-term reliability and serviceability worldwide.
What is the helium escape valve and do I need it?
The helium escape valve is a feature designed for professional saturation divers who spend extended periods in pressurized environments. During decompression, helium molecules that have permeated the watch's seals expand rapidly and can damage internal components or blow off the crystal. The automatic, spring-loaded one-way valve releases this trapped gas safely without allowing water in. If you're a recreational diver, it's a technical safeguard you may never need - but it's also a hallmark of a truly professional-grade dive instrument.
How limited is the edition, and does it come with proof of authenticity?
Yes - only 50 units are produced per model number, and each watch is individually serialized (XX/50). Every purchase includes a Stainless Steel Certificate of Authenticity Card engraved with your specific serial number, as well as a Stainless Steel Warranty Card. The numbered packaging and challenge coin further document the piece as part of this exclusive production run.
How is this watch shipped, and does it require any assembly?
The watch arrives fully assembled and ready to wear, with the FKM rubber strap already fitted. It ships in a large, premium waterproof blue case with a pressure relief valve - providing safe transport and doubling as long-term storage. No assembly is required out of the box.
