Oceaneva 6000m GMT Deep Marine Explorer VI Grade 5 Titanium Automatic Watch Burgundy Dial
Description
The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer VI is a landmark achievement in dive watchmaking - the world's only 6000m-rated GMT timepiece, built by the first U.S.-based brand to ever release one. Crafted from Grade 5 Titanium, which is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel yet 40% lighter, this watch is engineered to withstand the most extreme underwater conditions while remaining genuinely comfortable on the wrist. At the heart of the watch is a Japan-made Miyota 9075 automatic movement, offering a true "Traveler GMT" function that lets you track a second time zone independently - a feature rarely found at any price point, let alone on a watch this capable.
The stunning burgundy enamel dial is paired with Grade A Swiss Luminova on the hands, hour markers, and high-grade black ceramic bezel, ensuring confident legibility in total darkness. Limited to just 50 numbered pieces for this specific model, the Deep Marine Explorer VI is a rare collector's piece that commands attention both in and out of the water. Whether you're a serious diver, a watch collector, or simply someone who demands the best - this is a timepiece that punches far above its class.

That's not marketing language; it's a verifiable milestone in watchmaking. The combination of a true GMT complication, 6000m water resistance, Grade 5 Titanium construction, and a high-beat Miyota 9075 movement in a single watch is simply unmatched at this price point - or most others. Collectors and divers who have followed Oceaneva's journey know this brand delivers on its promises, backed by real-world ocean testing and a growing community of enthusiastic owners. FAQ
What makes the Miyota 9075 a "True GMT" movement?
A "True GMT" or "Traveler GMT" movement allows you to set the hour hand independently from the GMT (second time zone) hand. This means you can adjust your local time without disrupting the reference time zone - ideal for frequent travelers. The Miyota 9075 is a highly regarded movement from Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. and is sought after by collectors for its reliability, smooth operation, and this genuine GMT complication.
How does 6000m water resistance compare to other dive watches?
Most dive watches are rated to 200m-300m, which covers recreational scuba diving. Professional saturation dive watches typically reach 600m-1000m. A 6000m rating places the Deep Marine Explorer VI in an extraordinarily rare category - suitable for the deepest manned submersible operations. Only three brands globally have achieved this rating, making Oceaneva's accomplishment genuinely remarkable, especially as the only brand to also include a GMT complication at this depth rating.
Why is Grade 5 Titanium better than stainless steel for a dive watch?
Grade 5 Titanium (also known as Ti-6Al-4V) is the aerospace-grade alloy used in jet engines and surgical implants. It is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, yet approximately 40% lighter. For a dive watch, this means exceptional resistance to the pressures and corrosive saltwater environment of deep dives, while remaining comfortable enough for all-day wear. The weight difference is immediately noticeable on the wrist compared to a steel dive watch of similar size.
Is the burgundy enamel dial the only color available?
The Deep Marine Explorer VI is produced in a limited run of 300 total units across multiple dial color variants, with only 50 numbered pieces per specific model. This listing is for the burgundy enamel dial version. Other color variants may be available separately - each with its own unique serial number run of 50.
Does the watch come with any warranty?
Yes. The Deep Marine Explorer VI includes a stainless steel warranty card as part of its premium packaging. The stainless steel certificate of authenticity is also serialized to match the number engraved on your specific case, providing proof of authenticity and ownership. For specific warranty terms and duration, please contact Omaha Sports and Games directly.
Can this watch be worn during casual everyday use, or is it purely a dive instrument?
Absolutely - the Deep Marine Explorer VI is equally at home as an everyday wear watch. At 4.6 oz and 44mm, it wears comfortably for its size, and the refined burgundy enamel dial and polished titanium finishes give it a versatile aesthetic that works as well with business casual attire as with dive gear. The FKM rubber strap is comfortable, durable, and sweat-resistant for all-day wear.
