Oceaneva 6000m FULL LUME DIAL Deep Marine Explorer VI Grade 5 Titanium GMT True Dive Full Lume Automatic Watch
Description
The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer VI is a landmark achievement in watchmaking - the world's first 6000m-rated GMT timepiece, produced by a USA-based brand that has tested its watches at actual ocean depths. At its core is a groundbreaking dual functionality: a precision dive bezel for timing paired seamlessly with a 24-hour True GMT "Traveler" function, all housed in a Grade 5 titanium case that is 227% stronger than stainless steel yet 40% lighter. The full lume dial, bathed in Grade A BGW9 Swiss Super-Luminova, glows a vivid blue in darkness while appearing clean white in daylight - delivering readability that no standard lume can match.
Limited to just 50 individually serialized pieces per model (300 total across all variants), this is a genuine collector's watch built to perform under extreme conditions. From its high-grade black ceramic unidirectional bezel to its 6mm domed sapphire crystal and German FKM rubber strap, every component reflects the engineering discipline required to push a GMT watch to depths few brands have ever attempted. This is not a watch you settle for - it is one you earn the right to wear.
Key Features
- 6000m Water Resistance: One of only a handful of watches in the world rated to 6000 meters - Oceaneva is the only brand currently producing a GMT at this depth rating.
- Grade 5 Titanium Case: 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, yet 40% lighter - scratch and corrosion resistant for the most demanding environments.
- Miyota 9075 True GMT Movement: Japan-made automatic "Traveler GMT" movement from Miyota (a Citizen subsidiary) with 24 jewels, 42-hour power reserve, and 28,800 bph high-beat operation.
- Full Lume Dial - Grade A BGW9 Swiss Super-Luminova: White in daylight, vivid blue in darkness - brighter and longer-lasting than standard lume, covering the entire dial surface.
- High-Grade Black Ceramic Bezel: Unidirectional, 120-click bezel with engraved Grade A BGW9 Swiss Luminova - nearly scratchproof and readable in pitch-black water.
- Engraved Lume-Filled Inner GMT Bezel: Black IP-plated inner 24-hour ring engraved with OCEANEVA branding and filled with Grade A BGW9 lume for night-readable GMT tracking.
- 6mm Slightly Domed Sapphire Crystal: A robust, nearly scratchproof sapphire crystal ensures crystal-clear visibility under pressure.
- Limited Edition Serial Numbering: Each watch is individually serialized (XX/50) - only 50 units produced per model, making this a true limited edition collector's piece.
- German FKM Rubber Strap with Grade 5 Titanium Buckle: High-quality rubber strap paired with a polished titanium screw-secured buckle for comfort and durability at depth.
- Helium Escape Valve & Screw-Down Crown: Professional saturation diving features including a helium escape valve and screw-down crown engraved with the Oceaneva Trident logo.
- Engraved Virginia Beach Caseback: Unique line art caseback exclusive to each model, depicting the Virginia Beach statue that inspired the Oceaneva brand in 2019.
- Only 4.6 oz. Total Weight: Despite its extreme capability and 44mm case, the titanium construction keeps the watch remarkably light on the wrist.

Why You'll Love It
The Deep Marine Explorer VI represents a rare convergence of horological ambition and everyday wearability - collectors and serious divers alike have raved about how comfortable it wears despite its impressive case thickness. Oceaneva is the only USA-based brand to have ever tested its watches at actual ocean depths, and only the 6th brand in history to do so, placing this watch in extraordinary company. The Miyota 9075 movement is a favorite among collectors and typically found only in watches costing significantly more, yet here it anchors a 6000m GMT that stands alone in the world. With individually serialized limited edition numbering and premium packaging designed to match the watch's prestige, this is a timepiece that holds its significance long after the sale. Whether you are a traveling diver, a watch enthusiast, or someone who demands the very best from their gear, the Deep Marine Explorer VI delivers without compromise - and without the luxury brand markup.

FAQ
What makes this a "True GMT" watch versus a standard GMT?
A "True GMT" - also called a Traveler GMT - allows the wearer to independently set the local hour hand without affecting the running of the minute or seconds hands. This means you can adjust your local time zone with a simple crown adjustment while your GMT hand and home time continue tracking accurately. The Miyota 9075 movement powering this watch features this True GMT functionality, making it genuinely practical for travelers and divers who need to track multiple time zones simultaneously.
Is 6000m water resistance practical, and why does it matter?
While most divers will never approach 6000 meters, a 6000m water resistance rating signals a level of engineering and case sealing that far exceeds even professional dive standards. It means the watch is built with tolerances, gaskets, and construction integrity that make it virtually impervious to water in any real-world scenario - recreational diving, saturation diving, or everyday wear in the rain. It also speaks to the brand's commitment to building a watch that performs at the absolute limit of what is technically possible.
How does Grade A BGW9 Swiss Super-Luminova compare to standard lume?
BGW9 is one of the highest grades of Swiss Super-Luminova available and is used by premium watch brands worldwide. It charges faster, glows brighter, and sustains its glow significantly longer than standard luminous paint. On the Deep Marine Explorer VI, it is applied to the full dial, bezel, and inner GMT ring - meaning every critical indicator remains readable in complete darkness for extended periods. For a dive watch, this is not a cosmetic feature - it is a safety and usability essential.
How limited is this watch, and will more be produced?
Each model variant of the Deep Marine Explorer VI is limited to exactly 50 individually serialized pieces, with 300 units total produced across all models globally. Once those 50 pieces for a given model are sold, that model is retired. Oceaneva does not reopen limited runs, which is part of what makes these watches collector items with lasting significance.
Can I use a different strap with this watch?
Yes - the watch uses a standard 22mm lug width, meaning it is compatible with the wide variety of aftermarket straps available in that size. The included German FKM rubber strap is purpose-built for dive use, but NATO straps, leather straps, or metal bracelets with a 22mm end width will fit without modification.
Does the watch ship assembled and ready to wear?
Yes, the Deep Marine Explorer VI ships fully assembled and ready to wear, packaged in the exclusive large waterproof box with all included accessories. No assembly is required. The watch is shipped via standard parcel courier - not on a pallet or via freight - and arrives in its premium presentation packaging.
