Oceaneva 6000m Deep Marine Explorer VI Grade 5 Titanium Automatic Watch Red Dial
Description
The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer VI is a landmark achievement in watchmaking - a 6000m-rated, Grade 5 Titanium automatic dive watch from one of the only three brands in the world capable of reaching this depth rating. Born in the USA and tested at the actual depths of the ocean, this is only the 6th watch brand in history to accomplish such a feat, placing Oceaneva in extraordinary company. The Deep Marine Explorer VI is Oceaneva's flagship series, a true collector's piece limited to just 50 examples of this exact model worldwide.
Featuring a bold Red dial with Gray Relief Wave lines, a hand-forged Damascus Steel bezel, and a Swiss Made SW-200 automatic movement, this watch delivers heirloom-level craftsmanship at a fraction of what competing luxury dive watches command. Weighing only 4.6 oz thanks to its Grade 5 Titanium case, it is equally at home on a deep ocean dive or dressed up at the surface. Every detail - from the engraved anti-counterfeiting inner bezel to the Virginia Beach caseback art - reflects a brand that takes its legacy seriously.

Why You'll Love It
The Deep Marine Explorer VI is one of the most exclusive dive watches ever produced by an American brand - and one of the most capable timepieces on the planet, regardless of origin. Oceaneva is the only USA-based brand to have ever physically tested their watches at depth, a distinction that puts them in a class shared by fewer than a handful of manufacturers in the entire history of horology. With only 50 pieces of this Red Dial model in existence, ownership is a genuine privilege. The premium packaging alone - featuring a waterproof case, stainless steel credentials, and a commemorative challenge coin - signals the seriousness of what you're getting. And at $1,599, this is luxury dive watch performance that would cost $8,000 to $35,000 if you sought it elsewhere. For collectors, serious divers, and anyone who appreciates what it means to own something truly rare, the Deep Marine Explorer VI is hard to beat.

FAQ
What makes Grade 5 Titanium better than stainless steel for a dive watch?
Grade 5 Titanium is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, yet approximately 40% lighter. For a dive watch worn in demanding underwater environments, this means superior resistance to corrosion, scratches, and pressure - without the wrist fatigue of a heavy steel case. It is widely considered the premium material choice for serious professional dive watches.
Is this watch actually tested at 6000m depth, or just rated for it?
Oceaneva is the only USA-based brand to have physically tested their watches at actual ocean depths - and only the 6th brand in history to do so. This is a meaningful distinction. Many watches are pressure-tested in controlled lab environments; Oceaneva's real-world ocean testing confirms the 6000m rating under genuine conditions.
What is Damascus Steel and why is it used on the bezel?
Damascus Steel is created by forge-welding two different types of steel together - in this case 304 and 316L stainless steel - resulting in a material with a distinctive layered appearance and exceptional hardness. On the Deep Marine Explorer VI bezel, it provides both a visually striking aesthetic and a tough, functional surface built to withstand regular diving use.
How do I know my watch is authentic and not a replica?
Each Deep Marine Explorer VI features an engraved inner bezel with the Oceaneva Trident Logo and "VI" repeated six times as an anti-counterfeiting measure. Additionally, every watch carries a unique serial number (XX/50) matched to a stainless steel certificate of authenticity included in the packaging. Always purchase directly from Oceaneva or an authorized dealer to ensure authenticity.
What does the SW-200 movement offer compared to a quartz watch?
The Swiss Made SW-200 is a self-winding mechanical automatic movement with 26 jewels and a 38-hour power reserve. Unlike quartz, it requires no battery - it winds itself through the natural motion of your wrist. For watch enthusiasts and divers, an automatic movement is a mark of craftsmanship and horological tradition, and the SW-200 is a proven, reliable caliber used in professional-grade timepieces.
Can I use this watch for everyday wear, or is it only for diving?
Absolutely - the Deep Marine Explorer VI is engineered for extreme conditions but refined enough for daily wear. At just 4.6 oz, the Grade 5 Titanium case is light on the wrist, and its bold design makes a statement in any setting. The 44mm case diameter and textured wave dial are equally at home on a dive boat or at a dinner table.
