Oceaneva 6000m Deep Marine Explorer VI Grade 5 Titanium Automatic Watch Red Black Dial
Description
The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer VI is a landmark achievement in modern watchmaking - a 6000-meter-rated titanium dive watch produced by a USA-based brand making horological history. Built from Grade 5 Titanium that is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel yet 40% lighter, this is a timepiece engineered to perform in the most extreme underwater environments on earth. The striking half red, half black dial features a textured gray relief wave design inspired by the ocean, paired with luminous stainless steel hands and a blue-tipped sweeping seconds hand for unmistakable presence on the wrist.
This is Oceaneva's flagship series and is limited to just 50 numbered pieces per model variant - making it one of the rarest production dive watches available today. Powered by the Swiss-made SW200 automatic movement and finished with a forge-welded Damascus steel bezel, the Deep Marine Explorer VI delivers genuine luxury dive watch performance without the five-figure price tags of traditional Swiss competitors. For serious divers, collectors, and watch enthusiasts who demand both function and exclusivity, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity.

Why You'll Love It
The Deep Marine Explorer VI is more than a watch - it is a collectible milestone in American watchmaking, produced by the only USA-based brand to ever test its timepieces at actual ocean depths and one of just six brands in history to do so. At only 4.6 oz, it wears lighter than virtually any comparable dive watch while delivering tougher, more corrosion-resistant performance than stainless steel alternatives. The relief wave dial, Damascus steel bezel, and Virginia Beach caseback engravings give this piece a unique artistic identity that sets it apart in any collection. With just 50 numbered pieces of this exact variant in existence, the Deep Marine Explorer VI holds long-term collector value alongside its technical credentials. Whether worn during a deep dive or at a formal event, this watch commands attention - and tells a story that no other timepiece can match.

FAQ
What makes the 6000m depth rating significant?
A 6000m water resistance rating means the watch has been engineered and tested to withstand pressure equivalent to 6 kilometers of ocean depth - far beyond what the vast majority of dive watches can achieve. Most professional dive watches are rated to 300m or 500m. Reaching 6000m requires extraordinary case engineering, crystal thickness, crown and valve design, and gasket integrity. Oceaneva is one of only a handful of brands globally - and the only USA-based brand - to have ever achieved and ocean-tested this rating.
Why is Grade 5 Titanium used instead of stainless steel?
Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) is the aerospace-grade alloy used in aircraft and high-performance applications. It is 227% stronger and 225% harder than standard stainless steel, yet approximately 40% lighter. For a dive watch meant to be worn for extended periods and exposed to seawater, it also offers superior corrosion resistance. The result is a watch that feels significantly lighter on the wrist than comparable stainless steel dive watches while being more durable in demanding conditions.
What is Damascus steel and why is it used on the bezel?
The Damascus steel bezel is crafted through a forge-welding process that layers 304 and 316L stainless steel together, creating the distinctive patterned appearance associated with traditional Damascus metalwork. Beyond aesthetics, this construction produces a bezel that is exceptionally hard-wearing and resistant to deformation. It is also engraved with Grade A Swiss Luminova lume, ensuring minute markings remain legible in total darkness underwater.
Is this watch suitable for everyday wear, or is it only for diving?
While the Deep Marine Explorer VI is engineered for serious diving use, its lightweight titanium case (only 4.6 oz), bold dial design, and premium finishing make it equally compelling as a daily wearer or dress watch. The FKM rubber strap is comfortable for all-day use, and the watch's distinctive aesthetics ensure it stands out in any setting - from the water to a formal occasion.
How limited is this edition, and will more be produced?
This specific Red/Black dial variant is limited to exactly 50 numbered pieces worldwide. Each watch is individually serialized (XX/50) with the number engraved on the case. Once these 50 pieces are sold, no additional units of this exact model will be produced. The total run across all Deep Marine Explorer VI variants is capped at 500 pieces globally, making any variant a genuinely rare collector's item.
What does the packaging include, and is it worth keeping?
The Deep Marine Explorer VI ships in a premium package exclusive to the 6000m series. It includes a large blue waterproof case with a pressure relief valve, a stainless steel certificate of authenticity matching your serial number, a stainless steel warranty card, a two-sided commemorative challenge coin, an embossed polishing cloth, and an Oceaneva survival paracord keychain with carabiner. The packaging is purpose-built for collectors - the waterproof case alone is a functional keepsake worth preserving for long-term storage and display.
