Oceaneva 6000m Deep Marine Explorer VI Grade 5 Titanium Automatic Watch Purple
Description
The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer VI is a landmark achievement in modern horology - a 6000m-rated dive watch built from Grade 5 Titanium and powered by a Swiss automatic movement, making Oceaneva one of only a handful of brands in the world to ever produce a titanium timepiece rated to this depth. This is the flagship of the Oceaneva lineup, engineered without compromise for serious divers, collectors, and enthusiasts who demand performance, precision, and rarity in equal measure. The Purple model features a striking Reef Purple Burst dial with shiny black gunmetal hands and hour markers, a polished high-grade ceramic bezel, and an engraved caseback inspired by the iconic Virginia Beach statue that gave birth to the Oceaneva brand.
Each watch in this production run carries an individual limited edition serial number (XX/50), with only 50 pieces produced per model number and 300 total worldwide - making this not just a watch, but a collectible piece of horological history. Despite its extreme-depth capability and luxury-tier construction, the Deep Marine Explorer VI weighs just 4.6 oz, thanks to Grade 5 Titanium that is 40% lighter than stainless steel yet 227% stronger. This is a rare opportunity to own a USA-brand watch that has been deep-ocean tested - a distinction shared by only six brands in history.

Why You'll Love It
The Deep Marine Explorer VI delivers a level of engineering and exclusivity that competitors charge $8,000 to $35,000 to match - making it one of the most compelling values in serious dive watches available today. As a USA-based brand, Oceaneva has earned its place among the rarest group of watchmakers in history by ocean-testing their timepieces at depth, giving buyers confidence that this watch is built to perform, not just impress on paper. The Grade 5 Titanium construction keeps it featherlight on the wrist while the 6000m rating means it is ready for anything the ocean can throw at it. Collectors will appreciate the individually serialized limited run of 50 per model, the anti-counterfeiting engraved inner bezel, and the exclusive caseback art tied to the brand's Virginia Beach origins. The premium packaging - from the waterproof case to the stainless steel certificate of authenticity - reflects the care and intentionality behind every detail of this release. Whether you're a diver, a watch enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates extraordinary craftsmanship at an honest price, the Deep Marine Explorer VI is a timepiece you'll be proud to own for decades.

FAQ
What makes the 6000m water resistance rating significant?
A 6000m water resistance rating is extraordinarily rare - fewer than a handful of brands in the world have ever produced a watch capable of withstanding that depth, and Oceaneva is the only USA-based brand to have done so. Most luxury dive watches are rated to 300m or 500m, and even professional dive watches rarely exceed 1000m. The Deep Marine Explorer VI has been tested at actual ocean depths, giving it a credibility that very few watches on the market can claim.
Why is Grade 5 Titanium better than stainless steel for a dive watch?
Grade 5 Titanium is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, while being approximately 40% lighter. For a dive watch, this means you get a case that is more resistant to corrosion from saltwater, more resistant to scratching, and far more comfortable on the wrist during long dives or everyday wear - without sacrificing any structural integrity. It is the gold standard material for serious professional dive watches.
Is this watch comfortable for everyday wear despite the 18.20mm thickness?
Yes. While 18.20mm is a substantial case thickness, the Deep Marine Explorer VI is designed with wearability in mind. The Grade 5 Titanium construction keeps the overall weight down to just 4.6 oz, which makes a significant difference in how the watch sits on the wrist. Owners of previous releases in this series have consistently reported that the watch wears more comfortably than the specs suggest.
How do I know my watch is authentic and not a replica?
Each Deep Marine Explorer VI features an engraved inner bezel with the Oceaneva Trident logo and "VI" repeated six times as an anti-counterfeiting measure. Additionally, every watch carries an individual serial number (XX/50) that matches the stainless steel certificate of authenticity included in the packaging. Only purchase directly from Oceaneva or authorized dealers like Omaha Sports and Games to ensure authenticity.
What is the SW-200 movement and how reliable is it?
The SW-200 is a Swiss Made automatic movement manufactured by Sellita, one of Switzerland's most respected movement makers. It features 26 jewels, a self-winding rotor, and a 38-hour power reserve. It is widely regarded as a robust, accurate, and service-friendly movement used in many respected watch brands. For a dive watch rated to 6000m, pairing it with a proven Swiss movement is a mark of serious engineering intent.
Can I replace or swap the strap?
Yes. The watch uses a standard 22mm lug width, which means a wide variety of aftermarket straps - rubber, silicone, NATO, leather, and metal bracelets - are compatible. The included German FKM rubber strap is high quality and purpose-built for diving, but the 22mm standard sizing gives you plenty of flexibility to customize your look.
