Oceaneva 6000m Deep Marine Explorer VI Grade 5 Titanium Automatic Watch Blue Dial
Description
The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer VI is a landmark achievement in modern watchmaking - a 6000m-rated titanium dive watch produced by one of only three brands in the world capable of reaching that depth rating. Built from Grade 5 Titanium, which is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel yet 40% lighter, this watch is engineered to perform in the most extreme underwater environments on the planet. The striking Blue with Gray Relief Wave Dial is a nod to the ocean that inspired the brand, paired with luminous hands and a Damascus steel unidirectional bezel that is as functional as it is visually bold.
This is a true limited edition release - only 50 pieces of this specific blue dial model are available worldwide, each individually serialized (XX/50). Powered by the Swiss-made SW200 automatic movement and wrapped in premium German FKM rubber, the Deep Marine Explorer VI delivers serious dive-watch performance with a level of exclusivity and detail rarely seen outside of watches costing several times its price. Whether you are a serious diver, a watch collector, or both, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to own a piece of horological history from a USA-based brand.

FAQ
What makes 6000m water resistance so significant?
6000m water resistance is an extraordinarily rare achievement in watchmaking. Only a handful of brands in the entire history of horology have reached this depth rating, and Oceaneva is the only USA-based brand to have done so - and one of the only brands to physically test their watches at actual ocean depths rather than in a lab environment. For context, the vast majority of dive watches on the market are rated to 200m-300m. A 6000m rating means this watch can handle saturation diving, professional deep-sea operations, and virtually any real-world aquatic environment imaginable.
Why is Grade 5 Titanium better than stainless steel for a dive watch?
Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) is the gold standard material for high-performance watches because it is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel while being approximately 40% lighter. This means you get a watch that is dramatically more resistant to dents, scratches, and corrosion - especially important in saltwater environments - without the heavy wrist feel of a stainless steel case. It is the same material used in aerospace and medical applications, which tells you everything about how seriously it is engineered.
What is Damascus steel and why is it used on the bezel?
Damascus steel is a forge-welded composite material - in this case made from 304 and 316L stainless steel - that creates a distinctive layered, patterned appearance through the forging process. It is prized for both its visual character and its structural strength. On the Deep Marine Explorer VI, it gives the unidirectional bezel a bold, one-of-a-kind aesthetic that no two watches share in exactly the same way, while still being fully functional and corrosion-resistant for dive use.
Is the SW200 movement reliable for serious diving?
Yes. The Sellita SW200 is a Swiss-made automatic movement with an excellent reputation for accuracy and durability. With 26 jewels, a self-winding rotor, and a 38-hour power reserve, it is more than capable for daily wear and serious dive use. It is a movement used across many respected watch brands precisely because of its proven track record.
How limited is this watch, really?
Very limited. There are only 500 pieces in the entire Deep Marine Explorer VI collection worldwide, and only 50 of this specific blue dial model (VI200BLWVDMNT) will ever be produced. Each watch is individually serialized with its own number (XX/50) on the case, and the Virginia Beach caseback artwork is exclusive to this release. Once they are gone, they will not be reproduced.
Can I wear this watch every day, or is it just for diving?
Absolutely - this watch is built for daily wear. The Grade 5 Titanium case is lightweight (just 4.6 oz with the strap) and corrosion-resistant, the sapphire crystal is nearly scratchproof, and the German FKM rubber strap is comfortable and durable for all-day use. The bold 44mm case and relief wave dial make it a striking everyday timepiece, not just a specialty dive instrument.
