Oceaneva 6000m Deep Marine Explorer VI Grade 5 Titanium Automatic Watch Blue Black Dial
Description
The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer VI is the flagship of a USA-based brand making horological history - one of only a handful of brands worldwide ever to produce a 6000m-rated titanium dive watch. Built for professional-grade depth performance and everyday wearability, this limited edition timepiece combines aerospace-level materials with Swiss automatic precision in a package that rivals watches costing far more. The half blue, half black dial with gray relief wave texture brings the ocean's character to the wrist, while every component - from the Damascus steel bezel to the engraved case back - reflects a level of craft rarely found at this price point.
With only 50 pieces produced per model variant, each watch carries a unique serial number (XX/50), making it a genuine collector's piece. Oceaneva is also the only USA-based brand to have physically tested their watches at extreme ocean depths - the 6th brand in history to ever do so. For serious divers, watch enthusiasts, and collectors alike, the Deep Marine Explorer VI represents a rare convergence of technical achievement and refined design.

Why You'll Love It
The Deep Marine Explorer VI is the kind of watch that commands attention in a collector's case and earns respect on a real dive. Oceaneva engineered this timepiece to outperform watches costing $8,000 to $35,000, and delivered a product that is lighter, tougher, and rarer than most anything else in its class. As the only USA-based brand to physically ocean-test at 6000m depths, Oceaneva has earned a credibility that no marketing claim can replicate. The Grade 5 titanium construction keeps the watch at just 4.6 oz, so it wears comfortably for hours without fatigue - even on the longest dives or most demanding days. The premium unboxing experience, numbered certificate of authenticity, and limited run of 50 pieces per variant mean you're receiving something genuinely exclusive. Whether you're a serious diver or a watch enthusiast who appreciates extraordinary engineering, this is a piece you'll be proud to own for decades.

FAQ
What makes Grade 5 Titanium better than stainless steel for a dive watch?
Grade 5 Titanium is 227% stronger and 225% harder than stainless steel, yet 40% lighter. For a dive watch, this means you get a case that resists corrosion in saltwater, holds up to the pressures of extreme depth, and won't fatigue your wrist during long wear - all without the weight penalty of traditional steel dive watches. It also has a natural resistance to scratching and surface wear, making it ideal for demanding environments.
Is 6000m water resistance really necessary - and what does it mean in practice?
Very few watches in history have achieved a genuine 6000m rating, and Oceaneva is one of only three brands globally to have done so with a titanium case. In practical terms, 6000m resistance means the watch can withstand the immense pressure found at depths far beyond recreational or even professional diving - it's a testament to the engineering integrity of every seal, crown, crystal, and case joint. For everyday wear, this rating means you'll never have to think twice about water exposure under any real-world condition.
What is Damascus steel and why is it used for the bezel?
Damascus steel is created through a forge-welding process that layers different types of steel - in this case 304 and 316L stainless steel - to produce a material with distinctive visual patterns and exceptional strength. On the Deep Marine Explorer VI, it gives the bezel a unique, premium aesthetic that no two watches share in exactly the same way, while also delivering the durability required for a professional dive bezel. It's a feature more commonly associated with custom knives and high-end tools, making it a standout choice in watchmaking.
How do I know my watch is authentic and not a replica?
Oceaneva has built in several anti-counterfeiting measures. The inner bezel is engraved with the Oceaneva Trident logo and "VI" repeated six times. Each watch carries a unique serial number (XX/50) that matches the stainless steel certificate of authenticity included in the box. Always purchase directly from Oceaneva or an authorized dealer to ensure you receive a genuine, serial-numbered piece with the full premium packaging and warranty.
What is the SW200 movement and how does it compare to other automatic movements?
The SW200 is a Swiss Made automatic movement produced by Sellita, widely regarded as one of the most reliable and accurate mid-to-high range automatic calibers available. With 26 jewels, self-winding via a rotor, and a 38-hour power reserve, it offers performance comparable to the ETA 2824-2 - a movement used in watches costing many thousands more. For a 6000m dive watch, the SW200 provides the dependability and serviceability you need when accuracy matters most.
How is this watch shipped and does it require any setup out of the box?
The Deep Marine Explorer VI ships in its exclusive large waterproof case with a pressure relief valve, fully packaged with all included accessories. The watch arrives ready to wear - simply wind the crown a few times to engage the automatic movement if it has not been running, set the time, and you're ready to go. No assembly is required. The FKM rubber strap comes pre-attached.
