NautiBuoy Sport Teak Inflatable Marine Platform

Description

The NautiBuoy Sport Teak Platform is a premium inflatable marine platform engineered for yachtsmen who demand more from their time on the water. Built from 200mm PVC drop-stitch construction with Mehler German PVC borders, these platforms deliver unmatched stability, durability, and luxury at water level. Whether you're sunbathing off the stern, launching jet skis and Seabobs, or setting up a crew workspace, the Sport Series delivers a versatile, deployable platform in minutes.

After four years of research, prototyping, compliance testing, and wave pool validation, NautiBuoy has refined every detail - from reinforced Kevlar D-rings to soft handles that won't scratch your hull. The patent-pending Air Toggle System links platforms end-to-end in multiple configurations, while ballast bags keep the surface rock-solid even when things get lively. Available in four sizes, there is a Sport Teak platform to complement every yacht.

Key Features

  • Air Toggle Linking System: Patent-pending system allows platforms to be connected end-to-end in multiple configurations - create jet-ski docks, longer pontoons, or custom layouts. Also provides a 2nd air chamber for added safety.
  • 200mm Drop-Stitch Construction: Made from 7.5"-deep PVC drop-stitch core with Mehler German PVC borders - a trusted alternative to Hypalon, offering superior durability and longevity.
  • PE Foam Teak Surface: The teak finish is made from PE Foam - won't discolor, won't peel from jet ski impacts, stays cool underfoot, and cleans up easily with hot water and a sponge. Far superior to EVA foam alternatives that peel over time.
  • Ballast Bag Stability System: Water-filled ballast bags anchor the platform and prevent tipping. Flip them over to drain instantly. Most docks don't include this - NautiBuoy makes sure the platform is stable enough to dance on.
  • Reinforced Kevlar D-Rings: D-rings are reinforced with Kevlar and will not detach from the mat under load.
  • Soft Handles: Integrated soft handles allow easy lifting and maneuvering without scratching the boat or marking the deck.
  • Rapid Inflation/Deflation: Inflates to 250mb in as little as 1 minute 30 seconds (375 model). Deflates quickly and packs down to a stowable bag for easy storage below deck.
  • Dual-Use: Leisure and Maintenance: Transforms from a guest-ready leisure platform into a crew maintenance tool. Add the non-skid fitted cover and hose holders so crew can washdown, varnish, and polish the hull efficiently.
  • Designed for Yachtsmen by Yachtsmen: 4 years of R&D and wave pool testing. Built to the highest standard with no compromises on quality or safety.

Size Options & Which to Choose

  • 375 - (8'2" x 4'11"): The most compact option in the Sport Series, ideal for 3 sunbathers or 2 working deckhands. Inflates in just 1 minute 30 seconds. Perfect as a standalone platform for smaller yachts, or as an add-on to a larger platform to create a dedicated jet-ski dock. Max load: 903 lbs. Stows to just 5'1" x 1' x 1'. Best for: smaller vessels, quick-deploy applications, or pairing with a larger platform.
  • 525 - (11'6" x 4'11"): A mid-size platform accommodating up to 4 users. Inflates in about 1 minute 40 seconds. Great for launching Seabobs, hosting small groups, or streaming off the stern. Max load: 1,058 lbs. Stows to 5'5" x 1'1" x 1'1". Best for: medium yachts wanting a versatile deck extension.
  • 675 - (14'9" x 4'11"): A generous long platform for up to 5 users. Inflates in approximately 2 minutes 40 seconds. Creates a real beach club atmosphere - ideal for lounging, water toys, and crew work. Max load: 1,322 lbs. Stows to 5'5" x 1'3" x 1'3". Best for: larger yachts wanting maximum deck real estate.
  • 800 - (13'1" x 6'6"): The widest platform in the Sport Series, offering extra beam for more comfortable group use and easier toy deployment. Accommodates up to 5 users and inflates in about 3 minutes 30 seconds. Max load: 1,543 lbs. Stows to 7'3" x 1'1" x 1'1". Best for: superyachts and resort applications needing the most spacious, stable platform available.

FAQ

How long does it take to inflate the platform?

Inflation time depends on the size. The 375 inflates in approximately 1 minute 30 seconds, the 525 in about 1 minute 40 seconds, the 675 in around 2 minutes 40 seconds, and the 800 in approximately 3 minutes 30 seconds - all to 250mb operating pressure. Deflation is equally quick, and the platform packs down into a compact stowable bag.

Can I link multiple NautiBuoy platforms together?

Yes. The Sport Series platforms use NautiBuoy's patent-pending Air Toggle System to link end-to-end with other platforms from any size in the range. You can combine platforms to create jet-ski docks, extended pontoons, or custom configurations. The Air Toggle also serves as a secondary air chamber for added safety. For all-direction linking (not just end-to-end), you would want to look at the NautiBuoy Voyager Series.

Is the teak surface real wood?

No - and that's a good thing. The teak finish is made from PE Foam, which is glued and stitched directly to the platform. Unlike real teak or competitors' EVA foam surfaces, PE Foam does not discolor, does not peel when jet skis bump into it, does not get uncomfortably hot in the sun, and cleans up instantly with hot water and a sponge. It looks great and holds up for years of hard use.

How stable is the platform in the water?

Extremely stable. NautiBuoy's unique ballast bag system fills with water when deployed, anchoring the platform and preventing tipping. They easily flip over to drain when you're ready to pack up. NautiBuoy states the platform is stable enough to dance on - and most competing inflatable docks don't include ballast bags at all.

Can the platform be used as a maintenance platform for the yacht hull?

Yes - this is one of the Sport Series' standout features. Simply add the lightweight non-skid fitted cover to protect the surface, and your crew can clean, varnish, paint, polish, and detail the hull from the platform. Optional hose holders keep equipment from going overboard. It's a tender-free solution that a single crew member can inflate and deploy in under five minutes.

What size platform should I choose?

It depends on your yacht size and intended use. The 375 is perfect for smaller vessels or as a jet-ski dock add-on. The 525 suits medium yachts wanting a versatile water-level platform for 3-4 people. The 675 provides serious lounging and toy-launch space for larger yachts. The 800 offers the most width and load capacity, ideal for superyachts or resort applications. All four sizes link together, so you can always add more space later.
