What is the difference between the Sonicator 740 and the 740-X?
The 740 comes standard with a single 5cm2 applicator. The 740-X comes standard with all three available applicators: a 1cm2 / 3 MHz, a 5cm2 dual frequency (1/3 MHz), and a 10cm2 / 1 MHz applicator - all stored directly on the unit.
What is the advantage of the direct crystal-to-patient applicator technology?
Eliminating the metal interface between the crystal and the patient allows for better ultrasound penetration. Because the device doesn't have to overcome that barrier, it doesn't have to work as hard as units that use a metal interface, which can extend the life of the unit and improve treatment efficiency.
Is the 740-X light enough to use for home therapy?
Yes! The 740-X weighs only 3.75 lbs without the battery, making it easy to transport and use outside of a clinical setting.
Can I use the 740-X with a stimulation unit for combination therapy?
Yes. All Mettler stimulation units are compatible with the 740-X, and the Sys*Stim 226 is the preferred pairing. You can also use third-party muscle stimulation devices - you'll just need the correct adapter for your specific unit.
Can I use older applicators from a 715, 716, or 730 with the 740-X?

Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at service@omahasportsandgames.com.
If your return request is accepted, it will be up to you as the buyer to return the item in its original packaging, unworn and unused. You as the buyer will be responsible for paying the return shipping. We may be able to assist you in scheduling a pickup for return but the payment will still be your responsibility. All products are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee based on the quality of the returned product and packaging.
Items opened, tested, used, or any other non-new condition may be eligible for return based on the manufacturer's return policy.
Shipping Damages and Issues
You must inspect your order upon reception and refuse delivery if you see damage. DO NOT sign for delivery if there is apparent damage to the product. If you sign for the delivery and later claim shipping damage, there is very little we can do to help.
If your order does not require signing at delivery and is instead just dropped off at doorstep with damage, contact us immediately with photos of the damaged boxes.
If your item(s) is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
