Mettler ME4200T Traction Table with Caudal Section
Description
The Mettler ME4200T Traction Table is a professional-grade treatment table designed for chiropractors and physical therapists performing traction and spinal decompression therapy. Built to address lower back and neck conditions, this table provides the controlled mechanical traction needed to deliver consistent, effective patient care. The ME4200T features an all-new motorized center arching mechanism for lumbar elevation, offering up to 26 degrees of rise to facilitate precise pulling traction forces - especially for prone-position therapy.
A gas-driven damper strut controls the lower body (3rd and 4th) sections, enabling auto-progressive return during therapy so sections stay afloat and return smoothly to their original position as traction force decreases. With a wide height adjustment range, twin oversized pillars, and retractable casters, the ME4200T is built for demanding clinical environments where stability and patient safety are paramount.
Key Features
- Motorized Center Arching Mechanism: Provides motorized lumbar elevation up to 26 degrees of rise, ideal for prone-position traction therapy targeting the lumbar area.
- Gas-Driven Damper Strut: Controls the lower body (3rd and 4th) table sections for smooth, auto-progressive return at the end of each therapy session - no abrupt contact with the frame.

- Twin Oversized Pillars: Provides added structural stability during high-force traction and decompression procedures.
- 3-Sided Elevating Bars: Enhances patient support and safety during treatment sessions.
- Individual Leveling Feet: All four corners feature independent leveling feet to ensure a perfectly stable surface on uneven floors.
- Retractable Casters: Casters at both ends allow easy repositioning within the clinic while locking securely during use.

- Universal Power Input: Operates on 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz for compatibility in any clinical setting.
- Comprehensive Warranty: 1 year on mechanical parts, 2 years on electronics, and 3 years on the frame.

Manuals & Guides
FAQ
What type of therapy is the ME4200T designed for?
The ME4200T is designed for mechanical traction and spinal decompression therapy. It is commonly used by chiropractors and physical therapists to treat patients experiencing pain or limited function due to lower back and neck conditions.
What does the center arching mechanism do?
The motorized center arching mechanism elevates the lumbar section of the table up to 26 degrees. This provides an upward lifting support while pulling traction is applied, which is especially useful when the patient is in the prone (face-down) position.
How does the gas-driven damper strut work?
The gas-driven damper strut controls the lower body (3rd and 4th) table sections during and after therapy. It ensures the sections stay afloat and do not abruptly contact the frame during a session. At the end of treatment, as traction force decreases, these sections gradually and smoothly return to their original position.
Will this table ship via freight?
Yes, given the table's weight of approximately 228 lbs, freight delivery is expected. Please contact us at service@omahasportsandgames.com to confirm delivery details and estimated arrival time before placing your order.
Is the ME4200T compatible with international power standards?
Yes. The ME4200T operates on 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, making it compatible with both US and international electrical standards.
What is covered under the warranty?
The ME4200T comes with a tiered warranty: 1 year on mechanical parts, 2 years on electronics, and 3 years on the frame. Contact us if you have questions about warranty claims or service.
