MaxBP Pro Pitching & Reaction Training Machine

Train like the pros do. The MaxBP Pro is the top of the MaxBP lineup — a compact, high-performance reaction training machine that delivers fastballs, sliders, cutters, and right- and left-handed curveballs at speeds all the way up to a 90+ mph super-turbo equivalent. Used by pro hitters, top D1 programs (LSU, UCLA, Oregon State, Kentucky, UVA, WVU, Xavier), and serious travel-ball, high school, and college players who need game-speed reps without a live arm. Same portable footprint as the Original — set it up in the garage, the cage, on the field, or in a hotel parking lot — with a bigger toolkit for the hitter who's outgrown standard batting practice.

Two Ways to Buy

Base Machine — $790
The MaxBP Pro pitching machine on its own. Ships with 96 training balls and the 3-ball rapid-fire feeder with interval control. Everything you need to start high-rep training, and expandable with any MaxBP accessory later.

Complete Bundle — $1,140 (Save 20%+)
Upgrade to the full MaxBP Pro Bundle and get every accessory serious hitters use, packaged together at a 20%+ discount vs. buying separately. This is the setup pro-track hitters, travel-ball programs, and college and off-season strength staffs run with.

What's in the Full Bundle

  • MaxBP Pro Pitching Machine
  • AC plug-in outlet and external 8-hour battery pack (with option to upgrade to an internal 8-hour battery)
  • 2 sets of 96 training balls (192 balls total)
  • Padded machine bag for easy transport
  • Tripod stand
  • Home plate
  • WebGlove catch training glove
  • Pop-up attachment for fly-ball and infield work

The Full Pitch Mix

The Pro delivers six pitch types across six exit velocities — fastballs, right-handed curveballs, left-handed curveballs, sliders, and cutters at speeds from soft toss all the way up to super turbo (90+ mph equivalent). That's the difference between a general batting machine and a real pitch-recognition tool: hitters are forced to read spin and identify pitch out of the release, not just react to a straight ball. Six speeds — soft toss, low, medium, high, turbo, and super turbo — mean the same machine can serve a 12U warmup or a college hitter working on plus-plus fastballs.

Rapid-Fire 3-Ball Feeder

The Pro's headline mechanical feature is the 3-ball feeder, which loads pitches back-to-back and lets you dial the interval down to as little as 3 seconds between pitches. Combined with the machine's five feed intervals (3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 seconds), you can drop into a genuine rapid-fire block — think 20+ pitches in under a minute — for pure reaction work. The load indicator light flashes with adjustable brightness so hitters can time each release the same way they'd track a pitcher's arm.

Ball Type: Safe Enough for the Garage

Like the Original, the Pro fires MaxBP's proprietary lightweight wiffle-style training balls, not standard baseballs. That's why the same machine that trains D1 hitters can also run safely indoors, in a garage, in a basement, or in the backyard with family around. The balls behave like real pitches out of the machine at short distances — enough spin and movement to genuinely train pitch recognition — but they won't put a ball through drywall or crack a window. Elite hitters use them for daily maintenance work at home; travel teams use them for off-season indoor sessions.

Ball Color: White or Optic-Yellow

Pick your ball color at purchase. White mirrors game-day pitches. Optic-yellow stands out against most backgrounds and is easier to track in lower light or indoor environments with limited contrast — a popular pick for garage and basement setups. Both play identically off the machine.

Power and Portability

The Pro bundle ships with AC plug-in outlet plus an external 8-hour battery pack — ready for either a permanent basement setup or a full day at a field with no outlet in sight. For a completely self-contained rig, upgrade to the optional internal 8-hour battery pack at purchase for cleaner transport and one fewer cord to run. The machine is compact and light enough to move one-handed, and the included machine bag protects it in transit.

More Than a Pitching Machine: The Pop-Up Attachment

The Pro bundle includes the pop-up attachment, which turns the machine into a fly-ball and infield feeder for infielders, outfielders, and catchers. Infield ground-work at short distances, outfield fly balls at longer distances, catcher pop-ups — all from one machine. For a team or program, this makes the Pro bundle a multi-position training tool, not just a hitting aid.

Vision Training Companion

For elite-level training, MaxBP also offers Senaptec vision-training eyewear that pairs with the pitching machine to sharpen how quickly the hitter's eyes pick up spin, seams, and release point. Optional, but if you're chasing that last edge — the kind D1 and pro programs actually invest in — ask us about pairing the Pro with Senaptec strobe glasses.

Pro vs. Original: Which Machine Is Right?

Go with the Original if the hitter is youth through high school and mostly working on fastball and curveball recognition at home or in the garage. Go with the Pro if you need faster speeds (super turbo / 90+ mph equivalent), the full pitch mix (adds sliders and cutters), the 3-ball rapid-fire feeder, or you're outfitting a program, team, or serious high-school-to-pro-track hitter. The Pro is more machine — designed for hitters who've outgrown standard batting practice.
