Manuals & Guides
FAQ
Is the Matrix Upper Body Cycle suitable for wheelchair users?
Yes - the UBC-M is specifically designed with wheelchair accessibility in mind. The contoured seat flips out of the way and stores on the unit, allowing wheelchair users to pull directly up to the machine. The optional Accessibility Kit adds a hardware-free ramp platform, length-adjustable crank arms, and a lumbar-supporting seat back for even greater adaptability.
Does the Upper Body Cycle require a power outlet?
No. The UBC-M is generator-powered, meaning it is completely self-powered by the user's movement. This makes it ideal for flexible placement anywhere on a fitness floor without needing to run power cables or locate an outlet nearby.
What resistance levels does the UBC-M offer?
The Upper Body Cycle uses a manual magnetic resistance system adjusted via a quick-release lever. Users can also use the crank locks to switch between fixed and free rotation modes, giving additional control over workout intensity and movement type.
Can multiple users share the machine throughout the day?
Absolutely. The one-touch height adjustment accommodates users of different sizes quickly, and the machine moves easily between locations with its integrated transport handle and two wheels. It's engineered for high-traffic commercial environments with a 450 lb. max user weight rating.
Does the UBCM console track heart rate?
Yes - the UBCM console supports telemetric heart rate monitoring and is compatible with both ANT+ and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate devices, so users can monitor their effort in real time during workouts.
