FAQ
What is the difference between the LED and Premium LED console options?
The LED Console provides a clean, straightforward workout experience with a large number display, 7 workout programs, and optional convenience features like RFID login and a headphone jack. The Premium LED Console offers an upgraded interface with enhanced connectivity and program options for facilities that want to provide members with a more feature-rich experience. If your facility is focused on simplicity and ease of use, the LED is an excellent choice. If you anticipate members wanting more interactivity, the Premium LED is worth considering.
Can this bike operate without being plugged in?
Yes. The Matrix Lifestyle Upright Cycle supports both self-powered and AC-powered operation. In self-powered mode, the bike generates its own electricity through the user's pedaling, requiring a minimum of 25 RPM to operate. This makes it easy to place anywhere in your facility without needing a nearby electrical outlet.
What type of facility is this bike best suited for?
The Lifestyle Upright Cycle is designed for low-volume facilities such as hotel gyms, corporate wellness centers, apartment communities, and smaller fitness studios. It offers commercial-grade construction and reliability in a compact footprint, making it ideal for spaces where durability and ease of use matter but traffic volume is moderate.
How difficult is maintenance on this bike?
Matrix engineered this bike with simplified service in mind. The three-piece crank with forged arms and integrated pullers makes routine maintenance straightforward and reduces the time technicians spend on the machine. This translates to less downtime and lower maintenance costs for your facility over the life of the equipment.
Does this bike connect to fitness tracking apps or heart rate monitors?
The Lifestyle Upright Cycle supports both contact and telemetric heart rate monitoring. It is CSAFE ready for integration with compatible devices, and WiFi connectivity is available as an optional add-on (included with Facility 360 and Community 360 packages). Bluetooth and ANT+ are not supported on this model.
