Is this system compatible with my Jayco Redhawk on a Ford chassis?
No - this specific kit (SKU 8735NCUPS) is configured for the Jayco Redhawk on a Chevy chassis, model years 2016-2024. If you have a Ford chassis or a 2025 or newer model, please call us so we can identify the correct fitment for your coach.
Does this system work with lithium batteries?
It may not. The EQ Smart-Level system requires a minimum of 150 amperes at 10.5 VDC for at least 30 seconds to operate properly. Some lithium battery systems cannot deliver the sustained running amperage these hydraulic pumps demand. EQ Systems recommends load-testing your battery before installation to confirm it meets these requirements.
Do I need a professional to install this system?
The kit is designed to be installation-friendly, and the jack and pump mount brackets are already pre-installed from the factory on Jayco Redhawk coaches in this chassis/year range. That said, the system involves hydraulic lines, electrical wiring, and system calibration (including setting the null point and filling with Dexron III ATF), so installation experience with RV systems is strongly recommended. Professional installation ensures everything is set up safely and correctly.
What app do I need to control the system via Bluetooth?
You'll need the EQ Systems app, available for both iPhone and Android. Note that a newer version of the app has been released - the previous version is no longer supported, so make sure to download the current EQ Systems app from your device's app store.
What fluid does the hydraulic system use?
The system uses Dexron III ATF (automatic transmission fluid). After installation, fill the reservoir to about one inch below the top with the jacks fully retracted, keeping in mind that the fluid level will rise as the jacks retract. Replace the shipping plug with the included vented breather cap before running the system.
What happens if the system loses power while the jacks are deployed?
The EQ Smart-Level system includes a variety of manual override options, allowing you to retract the jacks even if the primary controls are unavailable. This ensures you're never stranded with deployed jacks in the event of a power or system issue.

Shipping Damages and Issues
You must inspect your order upon reception and refuse delivery if you see damage. DO NOT sign for delivery if there is apparent damage to the product. If you sign for the delivery and later claim shipping damage, there is very little we can do to help.
If your order does not require signing at delivery and is instead just dropped off at doorstep with damage, contact us immediately with photos of the damaged boxes.
If your item(s) is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
