Hoodoo Voyager 100P Pedal Drive Kayak
Description
The Hoodoo Voyager 100P is a compact, high-performance pedal drive fishing kayak built for anglers who demand real capability without the bulk. Featuring a propeller-drive pedal system with instant reverse, a stable easy-tracking hull, and a clean open deck layout, it handles everything from calm lakes and bays to slow-moving rivers with confidence. Now manufactured right here in the USA - hulls built in North Carolina and assembled in Missouri City, TX - this latest version of Hoodoo's best-selling kayak has been thoughtfully refined for better rigging, more usable storage, and greater customization.
The redesigned Voyager 100P brings smarter accessory integration, longer cockpit track rails, a more open rear tankwell, and flexible steering handle placement - all without sacrificing the lightweight portability and proven performance that made it a top seller. Whether you're fishing light or fully rigged with electronics, a trolling motor, and a crate full of tackle, the Voyager 100P is built to handle it.

Propulsion Options & Which to Choose
- Propeller Drive: The full pedal drive experience - includes the propeller-drive system for hands-free pedaling with instant reverse. Best for anglers who want maximum control, longer range on the water, and the freedom to keep both hands on their rod at all times. Ideal for covering water efficiently on lakes, bays, and calm rivers.
- Paddle Only (No Prop Drive): The Voyager 100P hull without the pedal drive system included. A great choice for anglers who already own a compatible drive unit, prefer traditional paddling, or want a lower entry price with the option to add a drive later. FAQ
How does the propeller drive pedal system work?
The Voyager 100P uses a propeller-style pedal drive that converts your pedaling motion into forward thrust via an underwater propeller. It operates much like a bicycle - just pedal to move. Unlike fin-drive systems, the propeller drive also features instant reverse, letting you back up or hold position with a quick handle adjustment. This makes it especially useful when fishing around docks, structure, or current.
How is the Voyager 100P shipped, and what should I expect at delivery?
The Voyager 100P ships via freight carrier due to its size and weight. Delivery trucks are equipped with a liftgate, and most shipments include appointment scheduling so you can plan ahead. Standard Freight starts at $175 and Expedited Freight starts at $275. When your kayak arrives, inspect it carefully before signing - note any damage on the bill of lading. If damage is severe, you can refuse delivery and Hoodoo will work to get you a replacement.
Can I add a trolling motor or Power Pole to the Voyager 100P?
Yes - the USA-made Voyager 100P was specifically updated with stern molded inserts to make it easier to mount accessories like Newport and Torqeedo motors, Power Poles, and other rear-mounted gear. Outrigger and accessory bar cutouts behind the seat also allow you to add stabilizers or additional rigging without drilling or guesswork.
What is the difference between the Voyager 100P and the Impulse or Tempest models?
The Voyager 100P and Tempest 120P both use a propeller-style pedal drive with instant reverse. The Impulse 105 and Impulse 120 use a fin-drive system, which is optimized for very shallow water where a prop could strike bottom. The Voyager 100P is the most compact option in the Hoodoo lineup, making it ideal for anglers who prioritize easy transport and maneuverability over maximum length or capacity.
Does the Voyager 100P come with a warranty, and how do I register it?
Yes, Hoodoo Sports includes a warranty with the Voyager 100P. To activate it, visit the Hoodoo Sports Product Registration page and enter your Hull Identification Number (HIN), which is found on the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin or stamped into the stern. Be sure to register within 30 days of delivery to ensure your warranty is active.
Is the Voyager 100P good for standing while fishing?
Yes - the Voyager 100P's 34-inch wide hull and open deck layout are designed to support standing. The stable hull provides a solid platform, and the clean deck gives you room to move and reposition. For added stability while standing, you can also add outriggers or stabilizers using the built-in cutouts behind the seat.
