Garmin Xero A1 Bow Sight - Auto-Ranging Digital Sight
Description
The Garmin Xero A1 is a revolutionary bow sight that eliminates guesswork from every shot. Built with a fully integrated laser rangefinder, it measures angle-compensated distance to your target and instantly provides a precise LED aim point - no manual pin adjustments, no second-guessing. Designed for serious bowhunters who demand accuracy from first light to last, the Xero A1 delivers pinpoint performance from dawn to dusk with auto-adjusting LED pins that respond to ambient light conditions.
Whether you're tracking game through dense timber or shooting from an elevated stand, the Xero A1 provides reliable distance reads up to 100 yards on game and up to 300 yards on reflective targets. A silent button trigger lets you activate the rangefinder with a single finger without giving away your position, and up to one year of battery life means you can focus on the hunt, not the hardware.
Key Features
- Integrated Laser Rangefinder: Measures angle-compensated distance to game up to 100 yards, and up to 300 yards on reflective targets - at rest or at full draw.
- LED Pin Technology: Bright, unobstructed LED pins replace physical pins for a cleaner sight picture. Auto-brightness adjusts to lighting conditions from sunrise to sunset.
- Silent Button Trigger: Mount the trigger button in your preferred grip position and activate the rangefinder silently with one finger - no noise, no movement.
- Level Indicators: Built-in cant indicators appear as blinking pins on your sight display to help eliminate bow tilt for a cleaner, more accurate shot.
- Battery Life - Up to 1 Year: Powered by 2 lithium AAA batteries (not included), delivering approximately 25,000 ranges before replacement is needed.
- Practice & Performance Tracking: Record and review your performance stats across multiple ranges and shooting sessions to sharpen your accuracy over time.
- IPX7 Water Rating: Built to handle rain, dew, and harsh field conditions with a waterproof rating suitable for serious outdoor use.
- MIP Display: Sunlight-visible, transflective memory-in-pixel display ensures your sight data is readable even in bright conditions.
- Wide Operating Range: Functions reliably from -4 degrees F to 140 degrees F, covering everything from early-season heat to late-season cold.
- Left- or Right-Handed: Available in both left- and right-handed configurations to fit your shooting style and bow setup.
Left or Right Handed & Which to Choose
- Right-Handed: Designed for right-handed archers who hold the bow in their left hand and draw with their right. The sight mounts on the left side of the riser for a natural aim point. Best for the majority of bowhunters shooting right-handed bows.
- Left-Handed: Designed for left-handed archers who hold the bow in their right hand and draw with their left. The sight mounts on the right side of the riser. Best for southpaw shooters who need proper ergonomics and trigger placement for their dominant hand.

FAQ
Does the Garmin Xero A1 work in low-light hunting conditions?
Yes. The Xero A1 features an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts pin brightness to match current lighting conditions - from bright midday sun to dim twilight. This means your LED aim point will always be clearly visible without being blinding or too faint, whether you're hunting during the golden hour or in overcast conditions.
Is the laser visible to the animal being hunted?
No visible light is ever projected toward the target. The Xero A1 uses a Class 1 laser that is not detectable by game, so you can range your target without risk of spooking it before the shot.
How do I know if I need the left-handed or right-handed version?
Choose based on which hand you draw with. Right-handed archers hold the bow in their left hand and draw with their right - they need the right-handed version. Left-handed archers hold the bow in their right hand and draw with their left - they need the left-handed version. If you're unsure, it's the same as your dominant drawing hand.
Is the Xero A1 legal to use for hunting in all states?
Not necessarily. Some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit the use of electronic bow sights for hunting. Always check and comply with your state's current hunting regulations before using the Xero A1 in the field. Garmin recommends verifying local laws before each season.
Do the batteries come included with the Xero A1?
No, the 2 lithium AAA batteries required to power the Xero A1 are not included in the box. However, once installed, they provide up to one year of use - approximately 25,000 ranges - so replacements are infrequent.
Can I use the Xero A1 for target archery and practice, not just hunting?
Absolutely. The Xero A1 includes a built-in practice mode that records your performance during shooting sessions and lets you review stats across different ranges and sessions over time. It's a great tool for sharpening your accuracy before hunting season begins.
