Garmin LiveScope Plus System with GLS 10 and LVS34 Transducer
Description
The Garmin LiveScope Plus System represents the pinnacle of live-sonar fishing technology, delivering real-time underwater images with improved resolution, reduced noise, and superior target separation compared to previous generations. Designed for serious anglers who demand the clearest possible picture of fish and structure, this system pairs the GLS 10 sonar black box with the advanced LVS34 transducer for a complete, ready-to-fish setup. Whether you're scanning ahead of the boat, looking straight down, or viewing from a natural perspective above the water, LiveScope Plus gives you three powerful scanning modes to fit any situation on the water.
Built-in image stabilization keeps your sonar picture steady even in rough water, and seven vivid color palettes - including Aqua, Caribbean, and Lava - let you tune your display for maximum contrast and clarity. The LVS34 transducer's wide 20° x 135° beam covers a broad area so you never miss fish or structure in your path. Compatible with a wide range of Garmin chartplotters and GPSMAP units, LiveScope Plus integrates seamlessly into your existing marine electronics setup.
Key Features
- Improved Resolution and Clarity: Latest LiveScope technology delivers sharper images, reduced noise, and fewer sonar artifacts for a cleaner picture of fish and structure.
- Three Scanning Modes: Forward, Down, and Perspective modes let you scout ahead, look directly beneath the boat, or see underwater from your natural vantage point above the water.
- Real-Time Live Sonar: Sonar type is Live - images update in real time so you see fish and structure as it actually happens, not with a delayed sweep.
- Built-In Image Stabilization: Integrated stabilization system keeps the sonar image steady on your chartplotter even in choppy or rough water conditions.
- Seven Vivid Color Palettes: Choose from Aqua, Caribbean, Lava, and more to maximize contrast and make fish and structure pop on your display.
- Wide 20° x 135° Transducer Beamwidth: Covers a broad area for thorough coverage whether scanning forward or downward.
- 200-Foot Maximum Depth: Effective in Down and Forward modes to 200 ft (61.0 m), suitable for a wide range of freshwater and nearshore fishing scenarios.
- Target Separation at 100 ft - 14": Exceptionally tight target separation so individual fish are distinguishable even in dense schools or near structure.
- 530-1,100 kHz Frequency Range with 500 W Transmit Power: High-frequency operation produces fine detail and crisp image definition.
- IPX7 Water Rating: Transducer is rated IPX7 for dependable performance in demanding on-water conditions.
- Broad Chartplotter Compatibility: Works with a wide range of Garmin ECHOMAP and GPSMAP chartplotters for seamless integration into your existing setup.

Why You'll Love It
Garmin has long been the trusted name in marine electronics, and the LiveScope Plus system represents the very best of what live-sonar technology can deliver to anglers today. Whether you're targeting bass in shallow timber, walleye on deep structure, or ice fishing with a drop-down setup, LiveScope Plus gives you a real-time window under the water that fundamentally changes how you find and catch fish. The image stabilization feature is a genuine game-changer on rough days when traditional sonar would be nearly impossible to read. Anglers across the country - from tournament professionals to weekend warriors - have made LiveScope their go-to system, and the Plus generation raises the bar even higher. With compatibility across dozens of Garmin chartplotters and a complete mounting accessory ecosystem, LiveScope Plus fits naturally into nearly any serious fishing boat setup. FAQ
Do I need a compatible chartplotter to use the LiveScope Plus system?
Yes - the LiveScope Plus system requires a compatible Garmin chartplotter to display the live sonar images. It is compatible with a wide range of Garmin ECHOMAP UHD, ECHOMAP Ultra, GPSMAP, and Force trolling motor devices. Check Garmin's compatibility list to confirm your chartplotter is supported before purchasing.
What is the difference between the "Yes" and "No" sonar module variants?
The "Yes" variant is the complete LiveScope Plus system - it includes both the GLS 10 sonar black box and the LVS34 transducer, along with all cables and mounting hardware. The "No" variant includes only the upgraded LVS34 transducer and its mounts. Choose "No" if you already own a GLS 10 sonar module from a previous LiveScope system and only want to upgrade your transducer. The GLS 10 sonar black box is required for the system to function - you must have one.
What are Forward, Down, and Perspective modes?
These are three different scanning orientations for the LiveScope Plus transducer. Forward mode scans ahead of your boat in real time so you can see fish and structure before you reach them. Down mode shows a live view directly beneath your boat, similar to traditional sonar but with far greater detail and clarity. Perspective mode gives you a wide-angle underwater view from your vantage point above the water, providing excellent situational awareness of structure and fish positions. A mount for Perspective mode is included in the box.
Can LiveScope Plus be used for ice fishing?
Yes - Garmin's LiveScope system is popular for ice fishing and is compatible with the LiveScope Ice Fishing Bundle and Spy Pole Mount accessories. The real-time live sonar is especially effective for ice fishing, letting you watch fish approach your lure and react in real time.
What is the maximum depth the LiveScope Plus can reach?
In both Down and Forward modes, the LiveScope Plus LVS34 transducer has a maximum depth rating of 200 feet (61.0 m). Performance may vary based on water conditions, boat speed, and transducer placement.
