- Surface Mount: Posts bolt to an existing hard surface such as concrete, asphalt, or a deck. Best for facilities that have a pre-poured pad or want a clean, flush installation without digging.
- Post Mount: A flexible mounting option designed to attach to an existing post or structure. Great for spaces where integrating instruments into existing site furniture or structures makes sense.
- Recycled Plastic Posts: Made from durable recycled plastic material that resists rot, splinters, and corrosion. Eco-friendly choice and ideal for high-moisture environments or facilities prioritizing sustainability.
- Steel Posts: Heavy-duty steel construction for maximum rigidity and a traditional, clean aesthetic. A great fit for facilities that prefer a more industrial or classic look with proven structural strength.

FAQ
What instruments are included in the Weenotes Ensemble?
The Weenotes Ensemble includes three instruments: the Merry (a bright-sounding metallophone), the Piper, and the Griffin. Together they create a harmonious outdoor music station perfect for parks, playgrounds, and public spaces.
What is the difference between In-Ground, Surface Mount, and Post Mount?
In-Ground mounting sets the posts directly into the earth for the most permanent installation. Surface Mount bolts the posts to an existing hard surface like concrete or asphalt. Post Mount attaches the instruments to an existing post or structure on your site. The best choice depends on your site conditions and whether you want a permanent or semi-permanent setup.
What is the difference between Recycled Plastic and Steel posts?
Recycled Plastic posts are made from durable recycled materials that resist rot, moisture, and corrosion - making them a great eco-friendly option for wet climates or sustainability-focused facilities. Steel posts offer heavy-duty structural strength and a classic look. Both are built for long-term outdoor use; the choice comes down to your aesthetic preference and environmental conditions.
Are these instruments suitable for young children?
Yes! The Weenotes Ensemble is designed for kids and adults alike. The instruments are intuitive to play - no musical training is needed. The smaller-sized format of the Weenotes collection is especially approachable for younger players while still delivering full-quality sound.
How much maintenance do these outdoor instruments require?
Freenotes Harmony Park instruments are engineered for permanent outdoor installation with minimal maintenance. The materials are selected to withstand weather, heavy public use, and seasonal changes. Occasional inspection of hardware and mounting is recommended, but no special treatment or seasonal storage is required.
Can the Weenotes Ensemble be installed in a school or sensory garden?
Absolutely. The Weenotes Ensemble is a popular choice for schools, sensory gardens, therapeutic playgrounds, and community parks. Its inclusive design welcomes players of all ages and abilities, making it a meaningful addition to any accessible outdoor environment.
