FAQ
What is the difference between the Attack, Cone, and Round pad options?
Each pad is designed to develop a different aspect of tackling and blocking technique. The Attack pad offers a wide, flat surface ideal for full-engagement blocking drills. The Cone pad focuses a player's aim and promotes accurate strike placement. The Round pad challenges balance and wrap-around control, making it great for open-field tackling practice. Choose based on your primary drill goals and player positions.
Is the Sackbak safe to use on artificial turf?
Yes - the Fisher Sackbak is specifically designed not to chew up grass or artificial turf. Its base construction is turf-friendly, so you can run contact drills on any field surface without worrying about damaging your turf investment.
How durable is the pad cover?
The pad is covered in heavy-duty 18 oz vinyl that is double and triple stitched at the seams. This construction is designed to withstand the repeated high-impact contact of daily football practice without tearing or fraying.
What age or skill level is the Sackbak designed for?
The Sackbak is marketed as a varsity-level sled and is best suited for high school and collegiate programs. However, it can be used effectively at the middle school level for more advanced players. The 225 lb weight provides substantial resistance appropriate for older, stronger athletes.
Does this sled ship via freight?
