Fisher Athletic 9910 Series Bull Rush Football Sled
Description
The Fisher Athletic 9910 Series Bull Rush Sled is a purpose-built defensive training tool designed to develop the explosive technique that wins at the line of scrimmage. The unique forward-slant blocking head features a built-in release mechanism that drives in 8" before releasing upward, simulating the real-time feel of a live block in game action. This all-in-one motion teaches defensive linemen and linebackers to engage, control, drive, and extend upward in a single fluid drill. The wider 52" base keeps the sled stable under aggressive contact, while the extended pad position forces players to react off the pad and get up field quickly.
Built from powder-coated steel for maximum weather resistance, this sled is at home on natural grass and artificial turf alike. With a 5-year warranty on metal parts and three available pad configurations, it is an investment that holds up to the demands of daily practice.

Model Options & Which to Choose
Man Pad (9910M): The standard blocking pad configuration. Best for teaching fundamental hand placement, drive technique, and block control for defensive linemen. A versatile everyday option for most programs.
Man Grab Pad (9910MGP): Features a grab-handle design that allows players to practice controlling and shedding a blocker with their hands. Ideal for developing hand-fighting skills and block-shed technique at the collegiate and advanced high school level.
Pummel Pad (9910PP): Designed for two-hand punch and pummel technique repetitions. Best for coaches who want to emphasize pass-rush hand moves, inside counter steps, and the rip/swim/bull-rush sequence.

Why You'll Love It
Fisher Athletic has been a trusted name in football training equipment for decades, and the 9910 Series Bull Rush Sled is one of their most innovative designs. The drive-and-release mechanism is unlike anything found on standard blocking sleds - it gives players genuine game-rep feedback that flat or static pads simply cannot provide. Coaches at the high school and collegiate level rely on this sled to build the kind of defensive explosiveness that shows up on Fridays and Saturdays. The heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame and 5-year warranty mean this is equipment you buy once and trust for years of daily practice. Whether your program runs 10 players or 100 through drills each day, the 9910 Series is built to handle every rep without complaint.
What is the difference between the Man Pad, Man Grab Pad, and Pummel Pad?
Each pad configuration targets a different skill set. The Man Pad is the standard option for drive and block-control technique. The Man Grab Pad adds grab handles so players can practice hand-fighting and block-shedding. The Pummel Pad is designed for two-hand punch and pass-rush hand move repetitions. Your choice should depend on which techniques your coaching staff emphasizes most in practice.
How does the release mechanism work?
The forward-slant blocking head is spring-loaded to drive inward approximately 8" under player contact, then release and kick upward - simulating the natural movement of an offensive lineman during a block. This teaches players to stay low, drive through contact, and extend upward, all in one continuous motion that mirrors what they will experience in a game.
Is the 9910 Sled safe for artificial turf fields?
Yes. The 9910 Series is specifically designed not to chew up either natural grass or artificial turf. The base and contact points are engineered to glide rather than dig, protecting the surface of your field during repeated reps.
Can I add weight plates to this sled for more resistance?
Yes. The 9910 Series is compatible with the Fisher Athletic 9000WH Sled Weight Horn, which is sold separately and can be added to any 9900 series sled. The horn holds up to four standard 45 lb weight plates, allowing you to dial in the resistance level for different players and drill intensities.
What does the 5-year warranty cover?
Fisher Athletic's 5-year guarantee covers all metal parts on the sled. All metal surfaces are powder coated to prevent rust, and the warranty is designed to give programs confidence that their investment is protected against manufacturing defects and normal wear over years of heavy use.
