Excel Iso-Lateral Decline Chest Press - Muscle D Fitness - Plate Loaded Decline Bench Press - Gas Shock Assisted Seat Adjustment
Description
The Muscle D Fitness Excel Iso-Lateral Decline Chest Press is a commercial-grade, plate-loaded machine built specifically to isolate and develop the lower pectoral muscles with precision. Its iso-lateral arm design allows each side of the body to move independently, delivering balanced muscle engagement and correcting strength imbalances that traditional decline presses simply cannot address. The gas shock-assisted seat adjustment makes setup fast and seamless between users - ideal for busy gyms, training facilities, and serious home setups alike.
Engineered with a robust steel frame and premium materials, this machine is built to handle the demands of daily commercial use without compromise. The ergonomically contoured seat and backrest promote proper decline pressing form, reducing strain and keeping athletes locked into the movement safely. Whether you're a strength coach outfitting a facility or an athlete serious about lower chest development, the Excel Decline Chest Press delivers the durability, versatility, and performance to match your goals.

FAQ
How is this machine shipped and does it require assembly?
The Excel Iso-Lateral Decline Chest Press ships via freight due to its size and 405-lb weight. Curbside delivery is the standard option, meaning the carrier will deliver to your curb or driveway. For an additional fee, you can upgrade to garage delivery, warehouse pre-assembly, or full assembly and installation at your location. An assembly manual is included with the machine. If you need help choosing the right delivery option, our team is happy to assist.
What type of weight plates does this machine use?
The Excel Decline Chest Press is plate loaded and compatible with standard Olympic weight plates (2-inch hole diameter), which are the most common type found in commercial gyms and serious home setups. Weight plates are not included with the machine. The unit features 9-inch weight pegs for loading and 6-inch storage horns to keep additional plates organized on the machine.
Is this machine suitable for a commercial gym or high-traffic facility?
Absolutely. The Excel Iso-Lateral Decline Chest Press is built to commercial specifications with a robust frame, 600-lb max load capacity, and a 10-year structural warranty. The gas shock-assisted seat adjustment makes it quick and easy for multiple users to customize the setup throughout the day. It is well-suited for commercial gyms, university fitness centers, hotel fitness facilities, and professional training studios.
What makes iso-lateral training different from a standard decline chest press?
In a standard decline press, both arms are connected and move together, which can allow a stronger side to compensate for a weaker one. Iso-lateral training uses independent arms that move separately, forcing each side of your chest to work on its own. This leads to more balanced muscle development, better muscle activation on each side, and helps identify and correct strength imbalances over time - making it a preferred choice for both serious athletes and rehabilitation settings.
