Earth & Soul Stars︱Set of 2 Sound Therapy Bowls in Beige Carry Case
Description
The Earth & Soul Stars set by Rainbow Sounds is a thoughtfully paired duo of quartz crystal singing bowls, purpose-built to anchor and elevate any sound therapy practice. The set brings together the deepest and highest notes in the Rainbow Sounds range - a grounding 10" Earth Star bowl tuned to B3 and a bright, airy 8" Soul Star bowl tuned to C5 - creating a full-octave complement to a standard 7-bowl collection. Each bowl is crafted from high-quality quartz, kiln-fired, and tuned to the 432 Hz scale for tones that feel naturally balanced and deeply resonant.
What sets these bowls apart is Rainbow Sounds' signature smooth matte exterior, which allows the mallet to glide cleanly for consistent, clear sound - unlike traditional frosted bowls that can catch or skip. Every bowl carries a metallic symbol and its corresponding musical note inside for easy identification during sessions. Whether you're a practitioner building out a complete set or a wellness enthusiast exploring sound baths, this two-bowl set delivers a rich, harmonically complete experience from the very first play.
Key Features
- Earth Star Bowl - 10", B3 Note: Produces the deepest tone in the Rainbow Sounds range, offering a rich, grounding resonance ideal for anchoring sound bath sessions.
- Soul Star Bowl - 8", C5 Note: A bright, uplifting high note that completes the full octave above a standard 7-bowl set, adding spacious clarity to any practice.
- High-Quality Quartz Construction: Both bowls are crafted from naturally formed, high-purity quartz selected for rich, long-sustaining tones that support meditation, relaxation, and grounding.
- 432 Hz Tuning: Each bowl is precision-tuned to the 432 Hz scale, producing tones that feel harmonious, calming, and easy on the ear.
- Signature Smooth Matte Finish: Unlike frosted crystal bowls, the smooth matte exterior allows for minimal mallet friction, resulting in cleaner, more consistent sound production.
- Metallic Symbol & Note Identification: Each bowl is marked inside with its corresponding metallic symbol and musical note for quick, confident identification during live sessions.
- Beige Carry Case (10") with Nesting Pouch: Both bowls travel securely in a dedicated beige carry case designed to protect and transport your set with ease.
- O-Ring Stability System: Included white and black o-rings keep each bowl stable and wobble-free during play, especially important on smooth surfaces.
- Two Mallets Included: Comes with both a rubber mallet and a silicone mallet, giving players options for different tonal qualities and playing techniques.

FAQ
What makes this set different from a standard 7-bowl sound therapy set?
This Earth & Soul Stars set covers the two notes that fall outside a traditional 7-bowl chakra set - the deep B3 (Earth Star) and the high C5 (Soul Star). Together, they extend the tonal range both below and above the standard set, completing a full octave and offering richer, more expansive sound bath possibilities. They work beautifully on their own or as an addition to an existing collection.
What is 432 Hz tuning and why does it matter?
432 Hz is an alternative tuning standard - as opposed to the more common 440 Hz - that many sound therapy practitioners and musicians prefer for its warm, natural quality. Bowls tuned to 432 Hz are widely described as sounding more balanced and harmonious to the ear, making them especially popular for meditation, relaxation, and wellness-focused sound sessions.
What is the difference between the rubber and silicone mallets?
The two mallets produce slightly different tonal qualities. The rubber mallet tends to produce a fuller, more immediate strike tone, while the silicone mallet is often preferred for sustained rim-playing (where you circle the rim to keep the bowl singing). Experimenting with both will help you find the sound and technique that works best for your practice.
What are the o-rings for?
The o-rings act as a stable base for each bowl to rest on during play. They prevent the bowls from wobbling or sliding on smooth surfaces, which is especially important when facilitating a sound bath or playing on a hard table or floor. Simply place the o-ring on your surface and set the bowl on top before playing.
Are these bowls suitable for beginners?
Yes - the included mallets, o-rings, and care instructions make this set very accessible for newcomers to sound therapy. That said, high-purity quartz bowls are highly vibrational and may take a little practice to play smoothly. Rainbow Sounds recommends enrolling in a crystal bowl training course if you find the bowls challenging to play at first.
