DEEP Robotics Lite3 Venture Quadruped Robot Dog with Controller
Description
The DEEP Robotics Lite3 Venture is an advanced bionic quadruped robot dog engineered for researchers, developers, and technology enthusiasts who demand serious performance in a compact, agile platform. Built with a 50% increase in joint torque over previous generations, the Lite3 delivers remarkable locomotion capabilities - climbing 40-degree slopes, navigating 18cm stairs, and carrying up to 4.5kg of payload with ease. Its enhanced algorithm makes it more responsive and maneuverable than ever, while front and rear obstacle stop and visual following perception functions give it genuine environmental awareness out of the box.
Designed for both real-world deployment and secondary development, the Venture configuration includes dual Ethernet ports and external power input options (24V/12V/5V), giving developers the connectivity they need to expand and customize. Whether you're building autonomous inspection routines, integrating sensors, or exploring cutting-edge robotics research, the Lite3 Venture is a platform built to grow with your vision.

FAQ
What is the difference between the Lite3 Venture and the other Lite3 models?
The Venture sits between the Basic and Pro configurations. It adds dual Ethernet ports and external power input (24V/12V/5V) over the Basic, allowing you to connect external sensors and power expansion modules. Compared to the Pro and LIDAR models, the Venture maintains a slightly lighter weight and simpler interface set, making it a great balance between connectivity and portability for most developer and research use cases.
Does the Lite3 Venture include a controller?
Yes - this listing includes the robot and controller together as a retail package, so you have everything you need to begin operating the Lite3 Venture right out of the box.
Can I develop my own applications for the Lite3 Venture?
Absolutely. DEEP Robotics provides a full secondary development package including robot models, motion control SDK, APIs, and perception development interfaces with sample code. This makes the Lite3 Venture a strong platform for university research, robotics labs, and commercial development teams building custom autonomous solutions.
How long does the battery last and how far can it travel?
Under laboratory test conditions, the Lite3 Venture achieves 1.5 to 2 hours of runtime and a range of approximately 4km. Actual performance in real-world environments may vary depending on terrain, payload, and operating conditions.
What surfaces and obstacles can the Lite3 Venture handle?
The Lite3 Venture is designed for challenging real-world environments. It can climb slopes up to 40 degrees, navigate stairs with steps up to 18cm tall, and uses front and rear obstacle stop along with visual following to safely interact with its surroundings. It performs in both indoor and outdoor settings.
