ClimaStand Triangle Humidor with Base - Quartersawn White Oak with Boston Stain
Description
The Acoustic Remedy ClimaStand is a handcrafted guitar humidor and display stand built for musicians who refuse to compromise on instrument care. Crafted by Amish woodworkers in Quartersawn White Oak with a rich Boston Stain, this piece is as much a work of fine furniture as it is a precision humidity-control system. At its core is the patented ClimaControl Technology™ - a hermetically sealed interior fitted with a neoprene gasket, spring-loaded latches, and a Boveda two-way humidity pack that maintains a steady 49% relative humidity automatically, with zero daily maintenance.
Whether displayed upright on the floor or mounted to the wall, the convertible design requires no modification to switch between configurations - making it as versatile as it is beautiful. Available with a range of upgrade options including UV-blocking glass, plug-in LED lighting, and keyed locks, the ClimaStand is a long-term investment in the health, sound, and longevity of your most treasured instruments.

FAQ
Why does guitar humidity matter so much?
Wood is hygroscopic - it expands and contracts with changes in moisture. When a guitar is exposed to low humidity, the wood can shrink, causing cracks in the body, fret sprout, and a sunken top. High humidity causes swelling and can muffle tone. Maintaining 49% relative humidity keeps the wood stable, preserving both the structural integrity and the voice of your instrument long-term.
How does the ClimaControl Technology™ work?
ClimaControl Technology™ combines a hermetically sealed interior - created by a neoprene gasket and spring-loaded latches - with a Boveda two-way humidity pack. The Boveda pack automatically adds moisture when humidity drops and absorbs it when humidity rises, keeping the environment at a steady 49% without any action required from you. Over time, the Boveda pack will need to be replaced, but otherwise the system is fully self-regulating.
How often does the Boveda pack need to be replaced?
Boveda packs typically last anywhere from 2 to 6 months depending on how often the case is opened and the ambient humidity of your environment. When the pack feels hard or crystallized rather than pliable, it's time to replace it. Replacement Boveda 49% packs are available as an add-on at checkout.
Can the ClimaStand hold an acoustic bass or jumbo guitar?
Yes - the ClimaStand is available in three sizes to accommodate a wide range of instruments. The Jumbo size is designed for guitars with a lower bout greater than 17" (like the Gibson SJ-200), and the Super Jumbo size is built for long-scale bass guitars and similarly large-bodied instruments. Be sure to select the correct size at checkout based on your guitar's body dimensions.
Is the ClimaStand available in other wood species or finishes?
Absolutely. Acoustic Remedy Cases offers the ClimaStand in dozens of domestic, exotic, and reclaimed hardwoods. If you're looking for something truly unique, their Concierge Custom service allows you to specify custom colors, inlays, exotic wood species, and more.
