BUILT Strength Plate-Loaded Pullover (New)

Description

The BUILT Strength Infinite Series Plate-Loaded Pullover delivers a movement that rowing machines and pressing stations simply cannot replicate - an arc-based overhead pull that loads the latissimus dorsi and lower pectoralis major from a fully stretched position at the top of every rep. Tension stays consistent through the entire arc, from full overhead stretch to complete contraction, thanks to refined pivot mechanics with zero sticking points. A starting resistance of just 18 lb makes it approachable for technique work and warm-up sets before plates are loaded.

Built for commercial environments that demand durability without compromise, this machine features an 11-gauge steel frame that holds rigid under sustained heavy loading - no flex at the pivot, no rattle in the base. An electrostatically applied powder coat finish bonds deep into the steel, standing up to daily high-traffic wear while keeping the machine looking professional for years. Whether you're outfitting a facility or building a serious home gym, the Infinite Series Pullover brings a uniquely effective movement to your lineup.

Key Features

  • Arc-Based Overhead Pull Path: Targets lats and lower chest through a unique overhead arc that rows and presses cannot access - driving muscular development through the full length of the lat and lower pec.
  • 18 lb Starting Resistance: Refined leverage mechanics deliver smooth, consistent resistance from the very first rep, making early sets and technique work accessible before additional plates are loaded.
  • Latissimus Dorsi & Lower Pec Focus: Simultaneously loads the long head of the lat and the lower pectoralis major from a fully overhead stretch - a combination nearly impossible to achieve with standard pulling or pressing machines.
  • 11-Gauge Steel Frame: Heavy-wall construction provides exceptional structural rigidity under sustained commercial loading - no pivot flex, no base movement, no compromise over time.
  • Electrostatic Powder Coat Finish: Deep-bonded powder coat resists chips, scratches, and corrosion through years of daily use, maintaining a clean, professional appearance without need for repainting.
  • 4 Integrated Weight Horns: Four on-board plate horns keep Olympic weight plates organized and within arm's reach for fast, efficient loading changes between sets.
  • Olympic Standard Sleeve: Accepts standard 2" Olympic plates (sold separately) - compatible with the most widely used plate format in commercial and home gym settings.
  • Secondary Muscle Activation: Engages the Teres Major, long head of the Triceps, Serratus Anterior, and Rear Deltoids as secondary movers for comprehensive upper-body development.
  • Machine Weight - 370 lb: Substantial 370 lb build ensures a stable, grounded feel during heavy loading - the machine stays planted so you can focus entirely on the movement.
  • 1 Year Parts & Labor Warranty + Lifetime Frame: Backed by a full one-year parts and labor warranty with lifetime frame coverage - extended protection plans are also available at checkout.

Why You'll Love It

The Infinite Series Pullover fills a gap that most gym setups never address - a true overhead pullover arc that stretches and contracts the lats and lower chest in a way no cable row or chest press can match. Facilities managers and coaches trust BUILT Strength equipment for exactly this kind of purpose-built engineering: a machine that does one thing exceptionally well and holds up under the demands of daily commercial use. The 11-gauge steel frame and deep-bonded powder coat finish mean this machine will look and perform like new long after lesser equipment has started to show its age. Four integrated weight horns keep your floor clear and your sessions efficient, while the 18 lb starting resistance makes it welcoming for athletes at every level. Backed by a one-year parts and labor warranty with lifetime frame coverage, this is a long-term investment in your facility's training capability - one your members will notice and appreciate every single session.

FAQ

Do I need Olympic plates, and are they included?

Yes - this machine accepts standard 2" Olympic plates. Plates are sold separately and are not included with the pullover machine. You can add BUILT Strength Foundation Series Rubber Weight Plates or other compatible Olympic plates to your order at checkout.

What makes the pullover movement different from a lat pulldown or cable row?

The pullover arc works the lats and lower pec from a fully overhead stretched position, loading the muscle through its entire length in a movement plane that pulldowns and rows simply cannot replicate. Pulldowns work from above, rows work horizontally - the pullover is the only machine-based movement that starts with the arms overhead and drives through that overhead arc, making it uniquely effective for full lat and lower chest development.

How is this machine delivered, and do I need to assemble it?

The Infinite Series Pullover ships crated with an assembly manual. Standard delivery is driveway freight delivery, where the carrier uses a liftgate to lower the crated machine to your curb or driveway. If you'd prefer to have it brought inside, assembled, and tested for you, an inside delivery and assembly option is available at checkout. Assembly is required, and the process is supported by the included manual.

What does the warranty cover?

This machine comes with a 1-year parts and labor warranty plus lifetime frame coverage, starting from the date of delivery. Extended protection plans covering up to 3 total years are available at checkout. Warranty service covers nationwide - every ZIP code in the country.

Can I return or exchange this machine if it's not the right fit?

Yes - every order includes a 30-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery. If you change your mind, return shipping is the customer's responsibility and a 15% restocking fee applies. If the machine arrives damaged or fails under warranty, those situations are handled separately with no restocking fee.

What muscles does the plate-loaded pullover work?

The primary muscles targeted are the Latissimus Dorsi, lower Pectoralis Major, and Teres Major. Secondary muscles engaged during the movement include the long head of the Triceps, the Serratus Anterior, and the Rear Deltoids - making it a highly effective upper-body compound movement.
