BUILT Strength 'OG' Series Standing T Bar Row (New)
Description
The BUILT Strength OG Series Standing T Bar Row is a commercial-grade plate-loaded machine engineered for serious back development. With five adjustable handle widths - each offering three grip positions - it delivers 15 distinct pulling angles that let athletes precisely target the lats, traps, and rhomboids in every session. Wide handles shift the load to the outer lats and rear deltoids, while close handles drive rhomboid and mid-back thickness, making every adjustment a meaningful training choice.
Built for heavy use, the angled work arm maintains peak resistance throughout the full pulling arc, ensuring deep muscle contraction at the top of every rep. A wide, low-angle foot platform keeps you stable and locked in under maximal loading, and a 30 lb starting weight makes it equally accessible for warm-up sets and all-out strength work. With no stack ceiling, progressive overload is limited only by how strong you get.
Key Features
- 15 Distinct Pulling Angles: Five handle widths times three grip positions give athletes precise control over lat, trap, and rhomboid emphasis on every set.
- Angled Work Arm: Keeps resistance at maximum through the full pull arc for deep muscle contraction at the top of the movement where the back is fully shortened.
- Wide Low-Angle Foot Platform: Keeps the user firmly planted and balanced under heavy loading, eliminating the need to compensate for foot positioning or stability.
- Plate-Loaded with 30 lb Starting Weight: Olympic plate loading starts at just 30 lb, covering warm-up and technique work all the way to maximal strength training.
- No Stack Ceiling: Unlimited progressive overload - add as much weight as you can handle without being capped by a weight stack.
- Primary Muscles - Lats, Rhomboids, Traps: Targets the latissimus dorsi, rhomboids, and trapezius as primary movers, with rear deltoids, biceps, teres major, and core as secondary.
- Dimensions - 69" x 46" x 23": Compact footprint designed to fit within a dedicated gym space while accommodating full range-of-motion movement.
- Total Machine Weight - 240 lb: Heavy-duty commercial construction built to handle years of demanding daily use.
- 1 Year Parts & Labor Warranty + Lifetime Frame: Backed by a full one-year parts and labor warranty with lifetime frame coverage, with extended protection available at checkout.
- Crated Delivery with Assembly Manual: Ships crated with a full assembly manual; inside delivery and assembly option available at checkout.

FAQ
Do I need Olympic plates, and are they included?
This machine accepts standard 2" Olympic plates, which are sold separately. The machine itself starts at 30 lb (the weight of the work arm) before any plates are added, so you'll want to have Olympic weight plates on hand to get started with loaded training.
What are the 15 pulling angles, and why do they matter?
The OG Series T Bar Row features five adjustable handle widths, and each width offers three distinct grip positions, giving you 15 total combinations. Each angle shifts the muscular emphasis differently - wider handles load the outer lats and rear deltoids, while closer handles drive more rhomboid and mid-back thickness. This variety allows you to target your entire back with precision rather than repeating the same movement pattern every session.
How does this machine ship and is assembly required?
The OG Series T Bar Row ships crated with a full assembly manual. Standard delivery is driveway freight, where the carrier uses a liftgate to lower the crated machine to your curb or driveway. An inside delivery and assembly option is also available at checkout, where a delivery team brings the machine into your space, assembles it, and removes all packaging. Assembly is required unless you select the inside delivery and assembly service.
What warranty does this machine come with?
This machine includes a 1-year parts and labor warranty plus a lifetime frame warranty, coverage starting on the date of delivery. Extended warranty options - adding one or two additional years of parts and labor coverage - are available for purchase at checkout. Omaha Sports and Games services every ZIP code nationwide, so warranty coverage travels with your machine no matter where you are.
Is the T Bar Row suitable for beginners as well as advanced lifters?
Yes. With a 30 lb starting weight and infinite plate-loading flexibility, this machine works equally well for warm-up sets, technique development, and all-out heavy training. Beginners can use light plates to build form, while advanced athletes can load it as heavily as needed without hitting any stack limit. The 15 grip and handle combinations also let users progress their training variety as they advance.
What muscles does the Standing T Bar Row train?
The primary muscles targeted are the latissimus dorsi, rhomboids, and trapezius - the key muscles responsible for back width and thickness. Secondary muscles engaged include the rear deltoids, biceps, teres major, and core. The specific grip and handle width you choose shifts emphasis among these muscles, allowing you to customize each session based on your training goals.
