BUILT Strength 'OG' Series Seated Calf Raise (New)
Description
The BUILT Strength OG Series Seated Calf Raise is a commercial-grade, plate-loaded machine engineered specifically to isolate and develop the soleus and lower-leg musculature with precision and control. Built around a 5.5" adjustable round foot block, it delivers the deep stretch and full plantarflexion contraction that seated calf training demands - giving serious athletes the full range of motion needed for maximum soleus fiber recruitment on every rep. The vertically adjustable knee rest and seat pad fit any user size, making it equally at home in a professional training facility or a well-equipped home gym. Constructed from 11-gauge (3mm) steel, this machine is built to handle heavy loading day after day without compromise. Contoured knee pads lock the thighs securely under load, and integrated handles above the pads let athletes push to near-failure without a spotter. With a 20 lb starting weight and unlimited Olympic plate loading, the OG Series Seated Calf Raise takes you from warm-up sets all the way to maximal strength work - with no stack ceiling standing in your way.
Key Features
- 5.5" Adjustable Round Foot Block: Positions the ball of the foot correctly for a full-range seated calf raise - deep stretch at the bottom to full plantarflexion contraction at the top, maximizing soleus fiber recruitment through every rep.
- Vertically Adjustable Knee Rest & Seat Pad: Both adjust vertically to accommodate different leg lengths and preferred hip angles, setting the correct loading position for any user before the first rep begins.
- Contoured Knee Pads: Secure the thighs throughout heavy sets, keeping the loading position stable and consistent even at maximal weights.
- Integrated Handles: Positioned above the knee pads to provide stability and self-spotting control, allowing near-failure calf training without a training partner or spotter.
- Plate-Loaded with 20 lb Starting Weight: Accessible for warm-up and technique work, with Olympic plate loading supporting unlimited progressive overload - no stack ceiling.
- 11-Gauge (3mm) Steel Frame: Heavy-duty construction built for commercial-grade use and long-term durability under consistent, heavy loading.
- Full Range of Motion Ankle Flex: Designed to support complete ROM through the ankle joint - critical for soleus development and lower-leg strength gains.
- Primary Muscles Targeted - Soleus & Gastrocnemius (Medial Head): Directly isolates the muscles most responsible for calf size and lower-leg strength, with secondary activation of the Tibialis Anterior and Peroneals.
- Dimensions 60" x 32.25" x 36": A manageable footprint that fits into both dedicated gym spaces and home strength rooms.
- 1-Year Parts & Labor Warranty with Lifetime Frame Coverage: Backed by a full manufacturer warranty, with extended coverage options available at checkout.

Why You'll Love It
The BUILT Strength OG Series Seated Calf Raise is the kind of machine that serious coaches, facility managers, and dedicated home gym owners trust to fill a gap that most equipment lineups leave behind - true, isolated soleus training with commercial-grade build quality. The 11-gauge steel frame and precision-engineered adjustability mean this machine performs the same on day one as it does after years of heavy daily use. Athletes who have struggled to develop lower-leg size and strength with standing calf raises alone will immediately notice the difference that full-ROM seated training makes. The self-spotting handles and contoured knee pads make it safe and effective for solo training, even at maximum loads. Whether you're outfitting a commercial facility or investing in a home gym built to last, this is a machine that earns its floor space every single session.

FAQ
How much clearance do I need behind the machine?
Leave at least 3 feet behind the machine for full sled travel and safe mounting and dismounting during use.
Is professional assembly included with delivery?
Not by default. The standard shipping option is Driveway Freight Delivery, which places the crated machine at your curb or driveway. If you'd like the machine brought inside, assembled, tested, and packaging removed, select the Inside Delivery & Assembly option in the shipping calculator or at checkout.
What plates are compatible with this machine?
The OG Series Seated Calf Raise uses standard Olympic plate loading. Any standard Olympic weight plates (2" hole diameter) are compatible, giving you full flexibility to load the machine with whatever plates you already own or choose to add.
How do I maintain the moving parts?
Clean the rails monthly to remove dust and chalk buildup, and apply a light silicone lubricant to all moving components every few months. This keeps the sled action smooth and extends the life of the machine significantly.
Why train calves seated instead of standing?
The seated position bends the knee, which takes the gastrocnemius (the larger, two-joint calf muscle) out of the movement and places the majority of the load on the soleus. The soleus is a slow-twitch dominant muscle that responds best to targeted, loaded work through a full range of motion - exactly what this machine is designed to deliver. For complete lower-leg development, both seated and standing calf training are recommended.
Can I finance this purchase?
Yes - 0% APR financing is available through Shop Pay. You can check your purchasing power at checkout to find a monthly payment plan that works for your budget.
