BUILT Strength Infinite Series Linked Hip Abduction (New)
Description
The BUILT Strength Infinite Series Linked Hip Abduction is a commercial-grade, plate-loaded seated abduction machine engineered to isolate the outer thighs and glutes with true bilateral precision. Its mechanically linked movement arms ensure both legs push against equal, balanced resistance on every rep - eliminating the side-to-side compensation that unlinked machines commonly allow. The result is consistent, symmetrical loading across the gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, and hip abductors, making this machine a serious tool for athletes, coaches, and facility owners who prioritize balanced lower-body development.
Plate-loaded resistance means there is no fixed stack ceiling - progression is completely uncapped and fully customizable, from light activation sets to heavy loaded abductor work. Built on an 11-gauge steel frame with padded seat and leg supports, this machine is engineered for high-traffic commercial environments that demand durability, stability, and consistent performance day after day.
Key Features
- Linked Movement Arms: Mechanically linked bilateral arms apply equal resistance to both legs simultaneously - preventing dominant-side compensation and building symmetrical outer hip and glute medius strength every rep.
- Plate-Loaded Resistance (Olympic Standard Sleeve): No fixed stack ceiling - load Olympic plates incrementally for precise progression from light glute activation to heavy abductor development work.
- Targets Gluteus Medius, Gluteus Minimus, and Hip Abductors: Primary focus on the key outer hip muscles, with secondary engagement of the Tensor Fasciae Latae and Gluteus Maximus.
- Padded Seat and Leg Supports: Ergonomic seat and padded leg pads maintain correct abduction positioning and user comfort throughout the full range of motion - keeping hips aligned and the outer glutes loaded on every rep.
- 11-Gauge (3mm) Steel Frame: Heavy-duty commercial frame built for sustained daily use - rigid, stable, and engineered to resist flex or frame fatigue across years of serious training.
- Full Abduction Range of Motion: Designed to guide users through a complete, biomechanically correct seated abduction pattern for maximum muscle engagement and joint safety.
- Dimensions - 74.8" x 55.1" x 59.1": Purpose-built commercial footprint suited to dedicated training floors, functional training areas, and multi-station gym layouts.
- Machine Weight - 293 lb: Substantial, competition-grade build weight that contributes to rock-solid stability under heavy loading.
- 1-Year Parts and Labor Warranty (Lifetime Frame): Backed by a full commercial warranty with extended coverage options available at checkout.
- Ships Crated with Assembly Manual: Arrives factory-crated with full documentation; optional Inside Delivery and Assembly service available.

FAQ
What is the difference between a linked and an unlinked hip abduction machine?
A linked hip abduction machine uses mechanically connected arms so that both legs move against equal resistance at the same time. This prevents your stronger leg from doing more work than the weaker side - a common issue on unlinked machines where bilateral compensation can go undetected. The BUILT Strength Infinite Series uses linked arms specifically to build symmetrical outer hip and glute medius strength over time.
Does this machine come with weight plates?
No, weight plates are not included. The machine features Olympic-standard sleeves and is compatible with standard Olympic plates, which are sold separately. This plate-loaded design gives you full control over loading increments with no fixed stack ceiling.
Is professional assembly included with delivery?
Professional assembly is not included by default. The machine ships crated with an assembly manual for standard Driveway Delivery. If you'd prefer a white-glove experience, Inside Delivery and Assembly is available as an upgrade - the delivery team will bring the machine into your space, assemble it, test it, and remove all packaging.
How much floor space do I need for this machine?
The machine measures 74.8" x 55.1" x 59.1" (L x W x H). You should also leave at least 3 feet of clearance behind the machine for safe mounting, dismounting, and plate loading. Plan your floor layout accordingly to ensure safe and comfortable use.
What warranty does this machine come with?
The BUILT Strength Infinite Series Linked Hip Abduction includes a 1-year parts and labor warranty plus a lifetime frame warranty, with coverage beginning on the date of delivery. Extended protection plans covering up to 3 total years of parts and labor are available for purchase at checkout.
How do I maintain the moving parts on this machine?
To keep the machine running smoothly, clean the rails monthly and apply a light silicone lubricant to all moving components every few months. Regular maintenance helps extend the life of the machine and ensures consistent performance over years of daily use.
