BUILT Strength Foundation Series Leg Raise Abdominal Machine w/ Inflatable Ball (New)
Description
The BUILT Strength Foundation Series Leg Raise Abdominal Machine is a commercial-grade core trainer engineered to deliver more effective abdominal and hip flexor activation while reducing the lower back strain that standard leg raise machines and floor-based ab work can create. At the heart of the design is an integrated inflatable stability ball that provides lumbar support and naturally cues proper spinal alignment throughout every leg raise and crunch rep - a meaningful upgrade over flat-pad alternatives. Built on an 11-gauge steel frame and weighing in at 141 lb, this machine is rugged enough for high-turnover commercial environments yet compact enough for boutique studios and dedicated home gyms.
Bodyweight resistance means there's zero setup between users - no weight stacks, no plate loading, no adjustments - making it immediately accessible for all fitness levels. The compact 68" x 51" footprint allows it to be repositioned easily between training zones or circuit stations. Whether you're outfitting a commercial facility or building a serious home gym, this machine delivers targeted core training with the durability and ergonomic design to back it up.
Key Features
- Integrated Inflatable Stability Ball: Built-in lumbar support ball naturally cues correct spinal alignment during leg raises and crunches, reducing lower back compression for more effective core activation every rep.
- Reduced Lower Back Strain: The ball's rounded surface distributes lumbar contact more evenly than a flat pad, minimizing the spinal compression that standard leg raise machines create at the bottom of each movement.
- Targets Rectus Abdominis & Hip Flexors: Primary focus on the rectus abdominis and hip flexors, with secondary engagement of the obliques, transverse abdominis, and core stabilizers for a comprehensive core workout.
- Bodyweight Resistance - No Setup Required: No weight stack, no plate loading, no configuration between users - ready to use immediately and accessible for all fitness levels, ideal for busy commercial environments.
- 11-Gauge (3mm) Steel Frame: Heavy-duty steel construction delivers the structural integrity and longevity expected in commercial gym settings.
- Supported Exercises: Handles seated leg raises, ab crunches with leg lift, and core stabilization drills - a versatile core training station in a single footprint.
- Lightweight & Easy to Reposition: At 141 lb with a compact 68" x 51" footprint, the machine moves easily between training zones for facilities that rearrange for classes or circuits.
- Compact Footprint: At 68" x 51" x 43" tall, this machine fits comfortably into commercial gyms, boutique studios, and home training spaces without monopolizing floor space.
- 1-Year Parts & Labor Warranty + Lifetime Frame: Backed by a full one-year parts and labor warranty with a lifetime frame warranty - extended coverage also available.

Why You'll Love It
The Foundation Series Leg Raise Machine from BUILT Strength is the kind of equipment that earns its place in a gym through real performance - not gimmicks. The inflatable ball lumbar support is a genuinely thoughtful design feature that addresses one of the most common complaints about ab machines: the lower back strain that undermines workout quality and keeps users off equipment. For gym owners and coaches, that means members actually using the machine and getting results they can feel.
Built on a heavy-duty 11-gauge steel frame with a no-fuss bodyweight resistance system, this machine is engineered for years of dependable use in demanding commercial environments. Its compact footprint and manageable weight make it practical for facilities that need flexibility in their floor layout. Backed by a one-year parts and labor warranty and a lifetime frame warranty, it's a confident, long-term investment for commercial gyms, boutique studios, and serious home training spaces alike.

FAQ
What makes the inflatable ball different from a standard flat pad on a leg raise machine?
The inflatable ball's rounded surface distributes lumbar contact more evenly than a flat pad, which reduces the spinal compression that typically occurs at the bottom of leg raise movements under load. It also naturally cues correct posture and spinal alignment throughout the exercise, encouraging more effective activation of the abdominals and hip flexors while reducing lower back strain - a meaningful ergonomic advantage over traditional flat-surface designs.
Is this machine suitable for a commercial gym environment?
Yes. The BUILT Strength Foundation Series Leg Raise Machine is built on an 11-gauge (3mm) steel frame and designed for high-turnover commercial use. Its bodyweight-only resistance system means no setup is required between users, making it practical for busy gym floors. It is suitable for commercial gyms, boutique studios, and home training spaces.
What exercises can I perform on this machine?
This machine supports seated leg raises, ab crunches with leg lift, and core stabilization drills. Primary muscles targeted include the rectus abdominis and hip flexors, with secondary engagement of the obliques, transverse abdominis, and core stabilizers.
Does this machine require a weight stack or plates?
No. This machine uses bodyweight resistance exclusively - there is no weight stack, no plate loading, and no configuration required between users. It is ready to use immediately and accessible for all fitness levels right out of the box.
How does this machine ship and will it require assembly?
The machine ships crated via freight with an assembly manual included. You can choose between driveway delivery (the carrier lowers the crate to your curb or driveway via liftgate) or inside delivery and assembly (the team brings the equipment into your space, assembles it, and removes the packaging). Assembly is required and instructions are provided.
What warranty does this machine come with?
This machine includes a 1-year parts and labor warranty plus a lifetime frame warranty, with coverage starting on the date of delivery. Extended protection plans are also available at checkout for additional peace of mind.
