BUILT Strength Foundation Series Half Rack (New)
Description
The BUILT Strength Foundation Series Half Rack is a fully equipped commercial training station engineered around serious barbell work. Built from 11-gauge steel and rated for the sustained demands of collegiate weight rooms and high-traffic performance centers, this half rack is ready for the heaviest training loads day in and day out. Adjustable J-cups and safety bars dial in precise bar positioning for any athlete, any lift - squats, bench press, overhead press, and rack pulls are all accounted for.
Beyond the barbell, an integrated pull-up bar, high and low band pegs, and six on-rack weight horns transform this into a complete strength development station. Whether you're outfitting a school weight room, a commercial gym, or a serious home training space, the Foundation Series Half Rack delivers everything you need in one compact, organized footprint.
Key Features

- Integrated Pull-Up Bar: Built-in pull-up bar supports pull-ups, chin-ups, and hanging core work without any additional equipment or attachments.
- High and Low Band Pegs: High pegs assist pull-up development through the full range of motion; low pegs anchor resistance bands to the barbell for accommodating resistance on squats, presses, and deadlifts.
- Six Integrated Weight Horns: Six on-rack plate horns keep the floor clear and plates organized by size - the right plate is always within arm's reach between sets.
- 700 lb Weight Capacity: Rated for 700 lb of loaded barbell weight, providing ample headroom for the heaviest lifters in any commercial or collegiate setting.
- 11-Gauge (3mm) Steel Frame: Heavy-duty construction built to handle sustained heavy barbell loading in high-traffic commercial and collegiate environments.

FAQ
How does this half rack ship and what does delivery look like?
The Foundation Series Half Rack ships freight in a factory crate with an assembly manual. You can choose standard driveway delivery, where the carrier uses a liftgate to lower the crate to your curb or driveway, or upgrade to inside delivery and assembly, where the team brings the rack into your space, assembles it, tests it, and removes all packaging for you.
Does the half rack need to be anchored to the floor?
Floor anchors are recommended for securing the rack in a permanent installation, particularly in concrete floors. Floor anchors are not included with the rack. If you have questions about your specific floor type or anchoring setup, our team is happy to help you plan before your order ships.
What is the difference between a half rack and a full power rack?
A half rack has uprights on one side only, giving you an open front and a smaller footprint - ideal when space is at a premium. A full power rack fully encloses the barbell on all four sides, offering maximum safety and a wider range of attachment options. The Foundation Series Half Rack includes safety bars to catch a failed lift, making it a safe and practical choice for most training environments.
What accessories can be added to the Foundation Series Half Rack?
Many standard power rack accessories are compatible, including dip bars, landmine attachments, and additional cable pulley systems for lat pulldowns and rows. The rack already includes adjustable J-cups, safety bars, high and low band pegs, and an integrated pull-up bar right out of the box.
What clearance space do I need around the rack?
The rack itself measures 67" x 70" at the base. Plan for at least 2 feet of clearance on all sides to allow for safe barbell movement and loading. For a standard 7-foot barbell, you will want to confirm your room width accommodates the full bar plus loading space on each side.
What warranty does this rack come with?
The Foundation Series Half Rack comes with a 1-year parts and labor warranty plus lifetime frame coverage, starting from the date of delivery. Extended protection plans are also available at checkout for added long-term peace of mind.
