ATN Odin 6 MFT 640x480 Multi-Function Thermal Optic - 1-8x
Description
The ATN Odin 6 MFT is a next-generation multi-function thermal optic built for hunters, predator control specialists, and tactical operators who demand the best. At its core is ATN's proprietary 6th Generation thermal engine featuring a 640x480 resolution 12um VOx uncooled focal plane array with a class-leading <=15mK NETD sensitivity rating - delivering razor-sharp thermal contrast and smooth 50Hz imaging out to 1,700 meters. Powered by ATN's exclusive SharpIR AI image enhancement, the Odin 6 MFT processes thermal data in real time to sharpen edge definition and target contrast in dense cover, open terrain, or low-visibility environments.
What truly sets the Odin 6 MFT apart is its four-in-one versatility: it operates as a handheld monocular, helmet-mounted device, clip-on thermal for your existing optic, or a dedicated weapon sight - all from a single compact unit. The 0.37-inch OLED display with 1280x1024 resolution brings your thermal view to life with vivid clarity, while onboard features like a ballistic calculator, RAV (Recoil Activated Video), hot point tracking, and 64GB internal storage make this one of the most complete thermal optics on the market.

FAQ
What makes the Odin 6 MFT different from a standard thermal monocular?
The Odin 6 MFT is a true multi-function thermal optic - it operates in four distinct roles: handheld monocular, helmet-mounted device, clip-on for existing day optics, and dedicated weapon sight. Most thermal monoculars are single-purpose. The Odin 6 MFT also adds advanced features like AI-powered SharpIR image enhancement, a built-in ballistic calculator with 9 profiles, Recoil Activated Video (RAV), and 64GB of onboard recording storage - features you typically only find in dedicated rifle-mounted thermal scopes.
Can I use the Odin 6 MFT as a clip-on with my existing daytime scope?
Yes. The Odin 6 MFT is designed to mount directly in front of your existing day optic, converting it into a thermal sight while preserving your familiar reticle and weapon balance. It is compatible with day optics up to 6x magnification, making it an excellent choice for hunters who want to extend their current setup into nighttime or low-visibility conditions without purchasing a dedicated thermal scope.
What is the detection range of the ATN Odin 6 MFT 640?
The Odin 6 MFT 640x480 has a rated detection range of 1,700 meters. This is made possible by its high-resolution 640x480 sensor, 25mm f/1.0 germanium objective lens, and ultra-sensitive <=15mK NETD thermal detector, which can resolve subtle temperature differences at extended distances - even through darkness, fog, or light vegetation.
What battery types does the Odin 6 MFT use, and how long does it last?
The Odin 6 MFT accepts a standard 18650 rechargeable lithium battery (approximately 8 hours of runtime) or a CR123 battery (approximately 1 hour). It also supports external power via USB-C at 5V/2A, so you can keep it running indefinitely from a power bank or vehicle power source during long hunts or extended operations.
Is the Odin 6 MFT waterproof?
Yes. The Odin 6 MFT carries an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand temporary water immersion. It also has a working temperature range of -46°C to +49°C (-51°F to +120°F), making it suitable for extreme cold-weather hunts and hot summer predator control operations alike.
What is Recoil Activated Video (RAV) and how does it work?
RAV is ATN's hands-free video capture system. When the Odin 6 MFT is mounted as a weapon sight, it automatically detects the recoil from your shot and saves a clip that includes 10 seconds before and after the trigger pull - capturing the exact moment of impact without requiring you to press any button. It is ideal for documenting shots on game, reviewing misses, or sharing footage from the field.
What color palettes are available on the Odin 6 MFT?
The Odin 6 MFT offers six color palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, High Red, Green Hot, Sepia, and Ironbow. Each palette is designed to enhance heat signature contrast in specific environments and lighting conditions. White Hot and Black Hot are popular for general use, while Ironbow and High Red are favored in cluttered or dense environments where color differentiation helps with target identification.
