With a true 18,000 lb. rated pulling capacity, this 12V DC electric winch is purpose-built for high-GVW trucks, trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off container applications where ordinary winches simply fall short. A powerful 6.8 HP series wound motor paired with a 3-stage planetary gear system delivers not just raw pulling power, but faster line speeds that keep your operation moving efficiently. The Tiger Shark 18000SR comes spooled with synthetic rope and an aluminum hawse fairlead - a safer, lighter alternative to steel cable that is ideal for serious recovery and commercial work.

The signature "Kick-N-Flip" free-spool clutch lets you engage or disengage the winch with your hand or foot, making one-person operation fast and convenient. It is significantly lighter than steel cable, does not develop dangerous burrs or kinks, and - most importantly - does not store energy under tension the way steel cable does. If synthetic rope breaks under load, it falls to the ground rather than snapping back, greatly reducing injury risk. Synthetic rope does require more care to avoid abrasion damage and should be kept clean and dry when possible.

</details>

https://omahasportsandgames.com/products/superwinch-tiger-shark-18000sr-12v-electric-winch-with-synthetic-rope
