Eight colorful aluminum chimes are tuned to the F Major Diatonic scale (F, G, A, Bb, C, D, E, F), delivering rich, resonant tones far superior to toy-grade instruments. The first seven chimes are color-coded to the colors of the rainbow - a built-in teaching tool for the classic "Roy G. Biv" mnemonic - while the eighth chime resolves the octave in red.

Built in the USA since 1995, the frame is constructed from up to 95% post-consumer recycled HDPE plastic lumber, making it waterproof, weather resistant, and virtually maintenance-free.
