This keeps the hips and lower back in proper alignment throughout the movement, reducing stress on the lumbar spine while more effectively isolating the target muscles. Most traditional low back machines use a fixed pivot point that can actually increase shear forces on the spine - the ROX system is designed specifically to avoid this.

</details>
<details>

Is this machine suitable for users recovering from back injuries?

The RS-2204's spine-protective design and controlled movement path make it a popular choice in rehabilitation and physical therapy settings, but we always recommend consulting with a medical professional or physical therapist before using any strength equipment as part of injury recovery.
