Kinvent K-Deltas Large Force Plates
Description
The Kinvent K-Deltas are professional-grade large force plates built for practitioners who demand comprehensive movement analysis in a single, streamlined system. Designed for clinics, rehabilitation centers, gyms, performance centers, and field testing environments, the K-Deltas combine balance assessment, postural stability, load distribution, and vertical jump evaluation into one powerful platform. Their large surface area provides a comfortable and secure testing space for both double-leg and single-leg protocols, making them equally effective for post-injury rehabilitation and elite athletic performance training.
Connected to the Kinvent App, the K-Deltas deliver real-time biofeedback and instant visualization of force, power, and movement quality data. Whether you are measuring a countermovement jump (CMJ), an isometric mid-thigh pull (IMTP), or a static balance assessment, the K-Deltas provide the objective, repeatable measurements needed to guide evidence-based decisions. They also integrate seamlessly with other Kinvent sensors - including K-Push, K-Pull, K-Power, K-Myo, and K-Move - for a truly comprehensive analysis of movement and performance.
Key Features
- Large Surface Area: Spacious platform provides a comfortable and secure testing surface for both double-leg and single-leg protocols across all body types.
- Vertical Jump Testing (CMJ, SJ, Drop Jump): Measure jump height, peak power, and reactive strength with precise, reliable data using industry-standard jump tests.
- Balance & Postural Control: Assess static and dynamic balance, Center of Pressure (CoP), CoP velocity, and postural stability to evaluate asymmetries and compensation strategies.
- Isometric Strength Assessment (IMTP, ASH, McCall): Quantify maximal force production, limb symmetry index (LSI), and muscular endurance using standardized isometric protocols.
- Force-Velocity Profile & DSI: Identify whether an athlete presents a force-oriented or velocity-oriented profile to guide targeted training interventions.
- Functional Movement Analysis: Analyze squats, bridges, push-ups, and sit-to-stand tests to evaluate recovery, coordination, and movement quality in real-world conditions.
- Asymmetry Analysis (LSI): Identify left/right imbalances and strength deficits to support return-to-sport decisions and reduce reinjury risk.
- Real-Time Biofeedback via Kinvent App: Instant visualization of balance, asymmetries, isometric strength, and jump data directly on the Kinvent App for immediate practitioner feedback.
- Kinvent Ecosystem Compatible: Pairs with K-Push, K-Pull, K-Power, K-Myo, and K-Move sensors for a fully integrated, multi-tool performance and rehabilitation assessment system.
- Versatile Deployment: Suitable for clinics, rehabilitation centers, gyms, performance centers, and field testing - portable enough for flexible use across settings.

Why You'll Love It
The K-Deltas represent one of the most complete force plate solutions available for practitioners who need objective, actionable data at every stage of rehabilitation and performance training. Trusted by physical therapists, strength coaches, and sports scientists, these plates are engineered to deliver consistent, repeatable measurements session after session - so you can track real progress and make confident clinical decisions. The large surface area and broad protocol library mean the K-Deltas work equally well for a post-surgical patient working on landing stability as they do for an elite sprinter building their force-velocity profile.
What truly sets the K-Deltas apart is their seamless integration with the broader Kinvent ecosystem - connecting wirelessly to the Kinvent App and pairing with a full suite of companion sensors for a 360-degree view of athlete health and performance. Whether you run a busy rehabilitation clinic or a high-performance training facility, the K-Deltas are built to keep up with the demands of daily professional use while delivering the kind of precision data that separates guesswork from science.
FAQ
What types of tests can I perform with the K-Deltas?
The K-Deltas support a wide range of assessments including vertical jump tests (CMJ, Squat Jump, Drop Jump), isometric strength tests (IMTP, ASH Test, McCall Test), static and dynamic balance assessments, Center of Pressure analysis, load distribution testing, and functional movement analysis (squats, bridges, push-ups, sit-to-stand). They are designed to cover both rehabilitation and sports performance use cases in a single system.
Do the K-Deltas require a computer or tablet to operate?
The K-Deltas connect wirelessly to the Kinvent App, which is available on both iOS and Android devices. You can use a tablet or smartphone to run assessments, visualize data in real time, and generate reports - no dedicated computer hardware is required, making the system highly portable and easy to deploy in various settings.
How do the K-Deltas differ from the K-Deltas XL or 3D Deltas?
The K-Deltas are the standard large force plate solution, ideal for balance, isometric strength, and vertical jump assessments. The K-Deltas XL offer an extended surface area suited for dual-limb testing and advanced neuromuscular assessments requiring more space. The 3D Deltas add multi-axis (3D) force measurement for advanced postural analysis, gait studies, and more complex biomechanical testing. Your choice depends on the specific protocols and level of data complexity your practice requires.
Can the K-Deltas be used for single-leg assessments?
Yes. The K-Deltas are specifically designed to support both double-leg and single-leg protocols. Single-leg balance assessments, single-leg jump tests, and limb symmetry index (LSI) analysis are all built into the platform, making them a strong choice for return-to-sport evaluations and asymmetry screening.
Are the K-Deltas compatible with other Kinvent sensors?
Yes. The K-Deltas are fully compatible with the Kinvent ecosystem, including the K-Push (handheld dynamometer), K-Pull (traction dynamometer), K-Power (IMU/UWB motion sensor), K-Myo (EMG sensor), and K-Move (goniometer). This allows practitioners to combine force plate data with strength, motion, and muscle activation data for a more comprehensive assessment.
Is this product suitable for both clinical and athletic performance settings?
Absolutely. The K-Deltas are designed to serve both rehabilitation environments - such as physical therapy clinics and sports medicine facilities - and high-performance training settings like gyms, sports academies, and performance centers. Their broad protocol library and objective data output make them equally valuable for injury recovery monitoring and elite athletic development.
