Take the guesswork out of setting up your professional backstop system with this complete hardware kit. It includes all the cable, turnbuckles, clamps, and links needed to create a durable and tensioned pole-to-pole cable system. Designed for baseball and softball facilities, this setup ensures your backstop netting stays tight and secure without sagging.

Choose between the Standard Backstop Cable System (Pole-to-Pole) or the Suspended Cable System (Tie-Back) for facilities that need a cleaner, unobstructed view.

• (500′) – 1/4″ Galvanized Steel Cable (6,100 lb. breaking strength)

Custom netting and poles are sold separately.

INSTALLATION
When installing the hardware kit with a wall, eyebolts are recommended every 3–4′. Eyebolts and other wall hardware are not included. Browse our installation accessories or contact us for additional recommendations.

If your field includes a backstop wall, ensure player safety by adding Douglas Custom Protective Wall Padding. Padding protects players from wall collisions and helps your field comply with college softball rule 2.1.

POLES
Recommended pole size: 10.75″ OD x .375″ wall thickness.

NETTING
For optimal spectator protection, pair this hardware kit with high-impact 1-3/4″ square mesh baseball netting with a rope-bound border.

Recommended netting options:
• #12 Knotted UHMPE Dyneema
• #42 Knotted Ultra HDPE
• Twisted Knotted Nylon (#36 Medium Weight)
• 3.0 mm Knotless Polypropylene
