The Douglas® Classic Batting Tunnel Frame has stood the test of time—manufactured for over 30 years and trusted by coaches, schools, and training facilities nationwide. Its time-proven design allows for easy customization of tunnel length and width, making it a versatile and durable choice for baseball and softball training.

With a flexible setup that can accommodate custom net widths and standard lengths of 55’, 70’, or 75’, this frame is built to deliver professional performance year after year. The shared-pole multi-cage design eliminates unnecessary poles and ground footings, reducing clutter while maintaining maximum strength and stability.

Frame Construction

This heavy-duty frame is built using six 14’ steel poles made from 4” square tubing with a durable black baked-on powder coat finish for long-term weather protection. The tunnel width is reinforced by 2-3/8” OD 7-gauge galvanized steel crossbars featuring Allied’s® zinc Flo-coat galvanization process to resist corrosion.

The poles install securely using 4” square, 24” aluminum ground sleeves, allowing for a maximum installed net height of 12’. This sturdy setup ensures reliable stability through countless practice sessions and harsh outdoor conditions.

Hardware & Support System

The Classic Batting Tunnel Frame uses a ¼” galvanized aircraft cable system with a 6,100 lb. break strength to provide excellent net tension and long-term reliability. The cables run the entire tunnel length, supported by the end crossbars.

All net-to-cable connections are constructed from long-lasting steel, and the system includes all essential components—quick links, turnbuckles, cable clamps, and carabiner clips—for complete and secure installation.

Batting tunnel nets are sold separately, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred net size and mesh configuration.

Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at service@omahasportsandgames.com.

If your return request is accepted, it will be up to you as the buyer to return the item in its original packaging, unworn and unused. You as the buyer will be responsible for paying the return shipping. We may be able to assist you in scheduling a pickup for return but the payment will still be your responsibility. You can always contact us for any return question at service@omahasportsandgames.com.

All products are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee based on the quality of the returned product and packaging.

Items opened, tested, used, or any other non-new condition may be eligible for return based on the manufacturer's return policy.

Shipping Damages and Issues
You must inspect your order upon reception and refuse delivery if you see damage. DO NOT sign for delivery if there is apparent damage to the product. If you sign for the delivery and later claim shipping damage, there is very little we can do to help.

If your order does not require signing at delivery and is instead just dropped off at doorstep with damage, contact us immediately with photos of the damaged boxes.

If your item(s) is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products, special orders or personalized items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
