FAQ
What is the difference between the collegiate and high school models?
The main difference is the width of the goal post. The collegiate model (6000PGC) is 20'H x 18'6"W, meeting NCAA specifications. The high school model (6000PGH) is 20'H x 23'4"W, meeting NFHS specifications. Both are built from the same 2" O.D. galvanized steel and feature the same wheel-based portability system.
Do I need to permanently install this goal post?
No - that's one of the key advantages of the 6000 Series. The integrated wheel system allows the goal post to be rolled on and off the field without any permanent installation. It's designed specifically for multi-purpose fields where the goal post needs to be moved regularly.
What pads are recommended for safety?
Fisher Athletic recommends the PMV7216 or GPP400 goal post pads for use with the 6000 Series portable and H-style goals. These are sold separately and are strongly recommended for player safety, especially at the base of the post.
Is the net included with every model?
No. The base collegiate (6000PGC) and high school (6000PGH) models include only the goal post frame and windstreamers. The net, 3 targets, and movable uprights are only included with the package models (6000PGC1 for collegiate and 6000PGH2 for high school). Nets and targets can also be purchased separately.
How is this product shipped?
Due to the size and weight of the goal post, this item ships via freight. Contact us at service@omahasportsandgames.com before purchasing if you would like a shipping quote or need to confirm delivery details for your facility.
Can I buy additional nets or targets separately?
Yes. Fisher Athletic offers the 18' x 21' collegiate net (6000CNET), 23' x 21' high school net (6000HNET), a set of 3 targets - triangle, round, and rectangle (6000TARGETS), and a set of movable uprights 8'H x 8"W (6000UPRIGHTS) all as separate accessories.
